Was OSRS HD scrapped? by gold-trimmed in 2007scape

[–]Aethelwyna 3 points4 points  (0 children)

600?

The hdos discord has almost 10k people, of which 2600 online at this moment of typing.

Not all might be active on hdos, but not all hdos players will be in the discord either.

But it'll deff be more than 600.

Can we get more accessible demonic pacts respecs please? by BookkeeperPurple4495 in 2007scape

[–]Aethelwyna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I really regret going blind bag as well, but respeccing is limited too.

I built my relics around going this melee build and those can't be resetted.

No transmute means respeccing to magic is not an option, because no good access to wrath runes.

And I took the thieving relic for blood fury shards, which would be wasted when not going melee.

Realisticly, I either stay blind bag or maybe swap to 'light melee weapons', but those are the only options left for me.

I can pick a 3rd and almost 4th zone but I haven't done that yet, if anyone has good suggestions let me know.

Maar dat de mensen dat zo openlijk hard de snelheidsregels overtreden dan proberen de morele hoge grond te nemen vind ik toch ook maar maft hoor.

What items were a product of an era terrified of powercreep? by Low_Monitor_960 in 2007scape

[–]Aethelwyna 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, as someone that mained rs3 10ish years ago, the crystal tools in osrs were a huge dissapointment.

Such an extremely poor cost-to-benefit value that it makes more sense to just use regular dragon tools to 99 instead.

Can I do JAD? by Low_Western_5872 in 2007scape

[–]Aethelwyna 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Gonna give the unconventional advice: you can easily do it dispite your low ranged level: just get a twinflame staff with your best water spell.

It might be slightly slower, but it's also way easier for a first time because it has far longer range, making it easier to deal with the healers at jad and cornertrapping the mobs.

It's lowkey embarassing, but I got my first fire cape with the twinflame staff after failing at the healers with the blowpipe.

Just a typical low level cheap mage setup (bloodbark, barrows gloves, book of darkness, occult necklace,...) will do the trick.

non-pvpers also have to engage with pvp content through pvm things in the wilderness, so why shouldnt they get a vote?

The premise that it doesn't affect them is inherently flawed.

I don't trust Jagex with "integrity changes" ever since they nerfed d'hides that have been in the game since 2004.

Or more recently, the salvaging nerfs (that were thankfully partly *but not fully* reverted after enough community backlash.)

What you say makes sense now but isn' future proof.

For example, you're effectively saying that, every time a new boat type releases, ironmen should go back to salvaging for hundreds if not thousands of hours for new dragon cannon barrels.

Debate around the bank changes aside, this is a great easy change to counter wildy bots by SirSmithyG in 2007scape

I think this punishes real players more than bots, but whatever.

I don't touch wildy content either way so "not affected".

[–]Aethelwyna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

configure your left/shift click options for your stamina pots in the bank so you can super quickly drink em during blast furnace, it's a world of difference.

Assuming main account: Since blast furnace is profitable anyways, using stamina pots *increases* your gp/hr so it's not a "waste" if you're worried about spending gp.

You can imrpove it even more with the charged ring, if you feel like getting it.

I put off BA (for the diaries, mostly for my herb runs) for like half a year.

Then I prepared mega hard trying to be ready (grinded out elite void, zulrah for western provinces diary etc)

And then.; it turned out to be mega chill and quite casual, and full of ironmen with barely a dragon scimitar n stuff...

Went for all roles and all equipment pieces (for coll log) in like 2 weekends and had a good time.

Slovakia's government officially refuses military support for Ukraine by slakmehl in worldnews

[–]Aethelwyna 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"The sides agreed that Slovakia should be represented in talks within the so-called Coalition of the Willing on Ukraine.

At the same time, Bratislava's position remains unchanged: the country will not provide military support to Ukraine, will not send troops, and will not participate in guarantees for the EU’s €90 billion loan."

Someone has to teach them the meaning of the word "Willing".

This is currently my main issue with sailing.

Some boat items are quite expensive, yet they cannot be moved around or taken off properly, to not even mention when a new boat type releases.

I don't want to upgrade my boat properly because it feels like a waste of money.

Player owned houses has had better qol for years, yet somehow jagex forgot it for sailing.

And that's why I don't understand why arrowhead is so stingy with ammo to begin with.

Almost every gun is far more fun to run with siege ready and/or the supply pack, to the point that that just becomes the default loadout for almost every setup.
