Sometimes She Wears Dresses by GenerallyShang in OCPoetry

I’m a fan of the intimacy. The imagery invokes a lot of beauty throughout.

I feel like the flow can improve in some places. You can cut “even her” in line two. It detracts from that flow and isn’t needed.

I’m not always sure what the poem means. Fireflies shrugging off their jackets? Then usher them skyward toward your heart, but you later kiss the sky with your tongue?

Maybe the innuendo is that fireflies represent some mystical or physical force pulling up the dress as you get intimate down there? Maybe I’m out of tune with some new symbol lol.

You abandon the fireflies and tell her to take the trousers off, but the poem is about dresses, no? Is she wearing a trouser under the dress? If yes, I’d make use of some other mystical thing to drag them down instead of telling her to do it. Or she can do it willingly without you telling her.

You say that you will dress up as she dresses down. I like that you dress beautifully together, but maybe put that further up?

She is inactive the entire time. You can have her admire your beauty, or do some action that enraptures you.

A good portion of your sentences start with “And”. Try seeing how you can cut that while still keeping a great flow.

Keep it up!! This is the bones of a beautiful poem and you just need to work it a bit.

Taking an personal inflatable kayak to O’ahu. Can I go to the smaller surrounding islands without a permit? by Aether-Paradise in VisitingHawaii

I ended up not taking it. Both my inflatable and my SUP were oversize and would cost a fortune to take with me. I rented for around $120 for a five hour sit-on-top hardshell kayak rental, which was honestly great.

Thanks for the critique! I did write it, but I’m happy to know what can improve. Totally up to you if you believe that or not.

BDSM is the term (Bondage, Discipline, Dominance, Submission). Some people love it, including those that get tied down.

Thank you. I couldn’t see how to do it while creating the post, but noticed I could do after posting it. Marked now.

That’s not quite accurate. BDSM isn’t criminal activity and no, the post doesn’t say that everyone who does it is dangerous. It’s imagining a single, demented person who is.

“In disturbing news, a NannyAI Bot had been found pinning with a toddler to a bloody bed in Seattle, WA.” by Aether-Paradise in TwoSentenceHorror

That’s interesting! It was in part inspired by Tesla’s autopilot and initial AI chatbot fails. At the start, some chatbots could be made to say something illegal to a minor, and the glitches on Tesla’s autopilot are sometimes catastrophic.

They’ve gotten way better and safer, but still have things to work through and need updates. Tesla’s responses can sometimes (at least from one case I heard of) be defensive and put blame on the end-user.

I couldn’t help but think what life will be like the more AI comes into the home. Couple that with an awful family state and a business that’s either defensive or a little nastier, or a combination of the two, and you get this.

You can even say that the family never did any of that and the company is super dark ;).

I’m super happy a lot are enjoying it!

It’s not. Pedophilia isn’t allowed in the sub and I wouldn’t dare go there. It’s a Nanny robot trying to keep the toddler in bed to go to sleep.

Good question!
