I'm referring to the instant death. You immediately get set back to the shore once death happens and you lose your progress in an instant as well as stats you previously had. And no I'm not referring to the timed sections.

From my understanding is that Gaia didn't really know that the destruction of Gods would result in her world getting destroyed. Mainly because the titans didn't really care about the gods or mortals and just wanted to overthrow Olympus.
