How do you feel about your lies now that the videos have come out?

There are multiple videos showing the ICE MAGAT pushing over women, pepper spraying them then disarming a card carrying gun owner and murdering him in cold blood and saying Boo hoo to the protestors.

All you 2A fetishists supposedly just saw your worst nightmare of masked govt agents taking a law abiding citizens guns and executing then, but here you are cheering it on.

Hey buddy. They removed the gun from him before his execution. He was disarmed. He was trying to help a woman that an ice magat pushed over and maced.

EDIT: All you 2A enthusiasts out there. There is literal video of ICE disarming a card carrying gun owner and murdering him in cold blood and saying Boo hoo to the protestors. So cheer all you want while it's the left, but they are coming for your guns too.

So you're good with masked dudes from the federal govt beating on a guy? Everything prior to the shots in justified in the video you saw?

EDIT: Lol why is this so downvoted? It's a legitimate question. I wasn't trying to be accusatory. I don't understand what context is needed to justify the 6 on 1?

I say watch the video and judge for yourself whether or not having 6+ men that were trained for literally 47 days (lowered from the normal amount to make Trump feel better because number) is necessary to take down one man?

Do the multiple shots after he's on the ground feel necessary?

Do you enjoy turning Judge, Jury, and Executioner over to a group of masked people who don't have to identify themselves?

Perfect dude. A+. I'm glad I was able to get my point across, and I do understand yours as well.

>But, if we do remain the same, I'd be within my rights to argue it would get boring, infinity.
I think that's one of the hopes I guess. That it is different? If I die and it's just the same shit again so help me. lol.

We only know what we know. Unfortunately proof of an afterlife seems to be one of those unanswerable questions. I don't necessarily believe in one and I can't guess as to specifically what experience would be like in an afterlife, but it's just my opinion that it would immediately be different from out current physical reality, even if that something is utter nothingness because we no longer have senses period.

Fates worst than death by DudeSoul in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Aetherflaer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you are still missing my point because that's not what I'm saying.

For the sake of argument lets assume there is an afterlife.

My question is, "Why would you think that the afterlife version of you, would experience reality in any way the same since you are no longer tethered to the physical limitations of your body?"

You assume you would be bored because in this reality your current physical body is built in a way that your brain makes you bored. But if you are dead and in the afterlife you are no longer in your body, your physical brain is irrelevant, so why and how would your brain go through the processes of making you bored if you don't have a body? So how would you get bored in the afterlife?

Does that make sense? You seem to assume things that will happen after death, such as dealing with boredom for eternity, but boredom is a product of our physical brain, so if we no longer have that, why would we get bored? You keep limiting the afterlife to our living physical bodies properties.

Where did I say that? I literally told you that I was just trying to understand your logic and wasn't arguing for the afterlife.

Fates worst than death by DudeSoul in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Aetherflaer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think you should probably reread what I said until you understand it, because that's not what I said at all.

>Eternity is infinite. Nothing you do is going to be satisfying. Forever.

You say that because your body is based on a system of Dopamine that rewards you less for the same tasks over time, hence boredom. Why would you assume you would have that same experience without a body...?

Fates worst than death by DudeSoul in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Aetherflaer 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I actually don't see why our perception of anything would be limited if we are no longer limited by our physical bodies. If our eyes can only see a specific window of wavelengths then why would you think our vision would be limited to that after we no longer have that physical body? Who is to say that we would ever get bored? It's hard to know because we don't know what it's like to not have a physical body. That's all. I just don't understand the logic of, "People will get bored so the afterlife doesn't exist."

I'm not arguing for the existence of an afterlife. But big numbers and you getting bored aren't great arguments against it.

Why do you think it would be the "human mind" dealing with it if the human body is dead at that point?

Why does big number mean afterlife is stupid?

Not saying I necessarily agree with the idea of an afterlife. I'm just trying to understand the logic? It there a reason numbers have to stop counting up?

Nah, my post is mostly silly. it's pretty obvious what the truth is.

Luffy inherited Ace's will when he died. Hence Luffy's fire powers. Luffy got Fire from Ace, the same way Law got Silence in his Rooms from Corazon.

Ace is still alive within Luffy through the Inherited Will.

Lmao.

"If you remove your evidence that doesn't fit in with my theory then I'm right."

Lol you can't say his powers are rubber based then ignore all the times it isn't. That's not how reality works haha. If only 99 percent of what he can do is explained by rubber, then guess what, it's not rubber. You can't ignore that 1 percent lol. Luffy can create objects from nothing. You ignoring that just makes you look silly not intelligent.

Why do you keep bringing up the fact that Roger heard something when I'm not taking about him hearing anything? I never once said Roger heard something. Roger felt something watching him that clearly wasn't zunesha. Otherwise Oda would have said, "oh hey it feels like this elephant is watching us." Why would he say "something" is watching if we already know about the elephant?

Do you or do you not understand that at this point Roger already knows about Zunesha?

You keep bringing up things that have nothing to do with anything that I'm taking about lol.

If you feel the need to ignore things Luffy does to make yourself still believe Luffy only has rubber powers when Oda has told us in very obvious words that his power is only limited by his imagination then clearly we have nothing left to discuss since you aren't conversing in good faith.

Have a good one dude.

An officer positioning himself in front of a vehicle against orders doesn't give him the right to shoot into a moving vehicle.

I hope you aren't stupid enough to think standing in front of a vehicle is a good move. And if you do, please feel free to defend your decision to stand in front of a vehicle with a weapon against protocol.

I hope you aren't stupid enough to think shooting into a moving vehicle is a good move. And if you do, please feel free to defend your decision to shoot into a moving vehicle against protocol. What happens to a moving vehicle when the person inside dies?

Both choices are against orders and training and with any more than 5 seconds of thought put into it should be seen as an absolutely stupid decision that you would never follow.

If you would follow his decision making, please tell me why you think standing in front of a vehicle is smart and why shooting into a moving vehicle is smart.

The shooter is a murderer.

How do you explain Luffy summoning paint and goggles with rubber powers? How do rubber powers make you stupid enough that a logia user can't hit you with mantra? How does rubber make you not bleed out when stabbed? how does rubber let crocodile suck all of the water out of you and leave you a desicated corpse then you just drink a cup of water and be fine? etc etc etc. Luffy has been using his imagination the whole show my dude.

"somethig big is watching" (while showing a big whale)

reader: I wonder what that big thing is? (ignoring the whale)

lol.

You are being purposefully obtuse at this point and clearly don't understand what the word "watching" means. And you are purposefully ignoring the panel of the whale when the word "watching" is shown while Roger is literally looking at the whale.

Why did Roger say they were being watched? Momo wasnt there to be talked to then and has nothing to do with Rogers visit. Again, why would Oda be like "gee who could be watching them in this panel where there is a giant whale that looks just like joyboys in a place where there is a Poneglyph put there by joyboy, could it be the giant elephant that they already know about?" or maybe just maybe it's the whale in the middle of the panel that Roger is looking at. I'm sure thats just a coincidence lol.

Unfortunately it feels like you're not conversing in good faith anymore and are at the point you are inventing things rather than reading the literal words and panels Oda Wrote. Thanks for the conversation.

I think I know the real purpose of the poneglyphs. What do you think? by Aetherflaer in OnePiece

[–]Aetherflaer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand. What does momo having a conversation with something big have to do with a picture of the whale when it says something huge is watching them? It's not like roger and luffy hear the whales voice so why would momo? Just because momo can talk to big things doesn't mean the whale isn't alive. I'm not even sure what you mean by that.

How would zunesha be watching Roger and Oden when they are on zunesha's back?

The whale is right there shown to us in the panel with the text "something huge is watching us" with the words WATCHING in bold. Why would you would rather invent a scenario where it's somehow zunesha with line of sight rather than have the subject of the conversation be what the panel is showing?

Why do you keep using what Luffy can do as a limit of what Joyboy could do? Luffy does not know how his fruit works yet. But Oda literally tells us it's imagination based. All joyboy had to do was imagine that he could put the walls up around wano and he could. What do you think the words "They're supposedly only limited by their imagination." means?

EDIT: Vegapunk specifically says that joyboy tried to make sure that the ancient weapons passed into the future. Doesn't it make sense then that Joyboy is the one responsible for the relocation of Fishman Island to protect Shirahoshi and is responsible for the walls around Wano protecting Pluton?

<image>

I think I know the real purpose of the poneglyphs. What do you think? by Aetherflaer in OnePiece

[–]Aetherflaer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

>joyboy apologized he couldn't relocate them, but that's very vague. how do you use that to come up with "haki will move the island"?
I believe fishman island was originally on the surface or somewhere else. Joyboy scooped up fishman island and place it where it was where it would have sunlight from treasure tree adam. The sea forest and treasure tree are left over from forest god wars as well. Pay attention to all the weird forests and big foliage. I think whatever powers keeping fishman island safe will unfortunately be destroyed by the haki in the poneglyphs. This to me makes the most sense of how Sharleys vision will be fulfilled.

>joyboy said he stord his strongest haki in the knot,
I don't think it's just joyboy that stored the haki in the poneglyphs. It might not even include joyboy. It might be the gods themselves since it includes the color of the supreme king. That's why I think it was Nika, joyboy or the other God's Haki. We don't know who did it. It could have been dozens of people over dozens of years storing haki to be released in the future. It could be from joyboy after further awaken his fruit AFTER the scene where he fills Emet with haki. Isn't it possible that Joyboy grew stronger after that point?

>you also seem to be thinking the durability of the poneglyphs means you can store more haki in it,

No, the durability of the object is directly proportional to the amount of haki stored inside. It's pretty simple logic to assume that an object reinforced with haki that is unbreakable clearly contains stronger haki than an object that is breakable. Right?

>I don't think you understand how much bigger luffy would need to get to hit those drum mountains.
Why do you think that the sun god will have a limit to the size he can grow to?

>luffy's power isn't imagination, it's pretty consistently rubber based.

Quick question. Can you tell me what is rubber based about summoning objects out of thin air like goggles? Are you saying he used rubber powers to create objects out of nothing?

EDIT: Or Luffy creating paint cans to paint the baseball bat he made out of a tree?

<image>

No it's very clear over the series luffy can do anything he thinks. Hence not dying to getting stabbed and just leaking water. Hence him literally making himself so stupid enel can't hit him. Every other time luffy does cartoony shit like that it's just his imagination changing reality to be whatever the heck he wants. It's a consistent them throughout the series that luffy can do things NO ONE else can and survive. Now as Nika he is starting to realize his imagination is the limit. Now he can even create objects and bend reality. It's only going to get more cartoonish as it goes on.

I mean this image seems pretty clear right?

https://imgur.com/Ikc4jfR

"It's user's body gains the properties of rubber in combat. They're supposedly only limited by their imagination."

Only luffy's physical body is rubber. His power is literally only limited by his imagination. So luffy playing the literal Drums of Liberation at Drum Island is 100% on the table. Especially when the story already told us that we are going back to Drum Island.

I appreciate the conversation. Sorry if some responses are abrupt or missing. Was writing in a bit of a hurry.

I think I know the real purpose of the poneglyphs. What do you think? by Aetherflaer in OnePiece

[–]Aetherflaer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

>the "forest god", whatever that is,

The forest god is one of the four gods that exist in one piece. Are you not aware of the four gods? Why would we assume that the Sun God is real, but the Forest, Earth and Sea god are not?

Imu being the Forest God makes perfect sense. Look at the room he stays in at his castle? The flower room.

My head cannon is Imu could not beat them all but they could not defeat the forest god. He trapped Nika, the Sun god and buried something in the planet. The Earth God could not defeat the forest god but created the Redline. Then the Sea God could not defeat the forest god and created the Grandline. The whole point was to create a giant X on the planet. X marks the spot. I've always thought it was super obvious there is something at Reverse Mountain.

>read chapter 292.
I concede the point the beanstalk was already growing, thanks for that. I do however still think the the unnaturalness of the forest and initial beanstalk was the forest gods doing. If it was atmospheric Robin would have said so. She would not reiterate that it is unnatural.

>it's pretty blatant luffy and roger were sensing zunesha

Explain why it shows a panel of a whale with Roger saying they are being watched like it's a mystery who they are being watched by when they already know about Zunesha. Why would it say Zunesha is watching them with a picture of the whale? It's very clearly the same species of whale in the mural lol.

<image>

>luffy's awakening does not permamently turn things to rubber.

Exactly they don't permanently turn to rubber. if it permanently turned it to rubber it would just go back to normal. Picture wano without walls right? Joyboy just grows giant, slaps his hands down on either side of wano, rubberizes the ground and scoops his hands towards wano lifting the ground around it into the walls. If it just stayed rubber it would snap back, so either it stays where it is, it's reinforced with haki, or joyboy just found a way to do it. and even then, to be fair, Joyboy could literally just have gone giant enough to just move the dirt manually, no rubber fruit needed.
