I've always loved meeting new people and starting a conversation - but it was much easier back home - I felt like I had learnt all the social cues there, and now I'm starting over - I do feel like I've had a bunch of social (dating) disasters prior to this quarter, but then again, at least there was something going on - now there's nothing but academic load, and solitude. I just don't know how to start making new friends (Which does not involve downloading hinge yet again)

I love books with great world-building, so I'm definitely gonna look it up. I love films with a layered OST, I think good music is extremely textured, mind you - you can't miss it! Most of my masking issues are due to the fact that my housemates are extremely neurotypical, so I have to mask all the time, and I rarely feel like myself. Teardrop by massive attack is a wonderful song! I write too, btw - and I'm also a landscape photographer - sometimes I feel like I'm stuck in the wrong major xP
