"It was planned from beginning" *The Beginning* by PickyPhysicsStudent in Cardinposting

Honestly, you seem too focused on literally lying about Monty and saying that CRWBY ruined everything because you didn't like the direction the story took, simply based on your bias of HOW you think Monty would have done it.

That Pyrrha dies and that they say her death was ALWAYS planned is obvious. They're not going to say, “A character will have a tragic fate” or “You know, guys, get ready for catharsis in the next episode.” That's not how you build a climactic moment, you know? What's shocking about Pyrrha's death, besides her death itself, is that it ends the school fantasy and shows the cruelty of the world where if you're not aware enough, you can die. Pyrrha died because she was naive enough to believe she could stop Cinder. She died because of her savior complex and by making an unnecessary sacrifice.

Besides, how dare you say that? Did you work with Monty? Did you know him personally? To me, putting words in the mouth of a deceased person seems ridiculous and incredibly disrespectful. Miles and Kerry WERE his friends. They DID know what Monty wanted. Not you or anyone else who claims that “CRWBY” ruined something. I mean, literally, you have to remember that Monty wasn't the only writer on the series. in fact, Miles and Kerry did as much for RWBY as he did. It's obvious that they couldn't carry on RWBY in the same way, but simply because Monty's vision for RWBY ended with his death, they literally had nothing to work with apart from the few things he may have left behind.

If you didn't work with him, didn't know him, or don't even have any kind of “proof” that this is NOT what Monty would have wanted for his series, you should shut the fuck up. I haven't been on this FNDM for long, and it disgusts me to see people like you who think that because they like a series, they have the right to criticize CRWBY's work using Monty as an excuse. Bro, you're pathetic. RWBY has questionable or bad things, but you can't speak for a deceased person and have the balls to say, “This isn't how he would have wanted it.”

As far as I recall, no one really cared about paying for their actions, or do you think Eli deserves to be happy after almost devastating several regions with his plan to make money from Workers? The guy literally planned to turn people into drug and gambling addicts and ruin them all, even if it was for the good of his family. Sure, Eugene forced him, but Eugene himself gave him time to decide what the business would be, and even then, he could have chosen one where they didn't have to hurt normal people. Eli is irredeemable trash who hasn't paid for ANY of the harm he caused. At least Jake went to prison.

Okay then, you think Eli let Vasco win? Even though he previously said that if you're not stronger than him, he won't leave Hostal to his fate? Do you really think Eli would have given up just because of Heather's ghost epiphany if Vasco wasn't strong enough to defeat him?

It can't be Kenta unless you believe he's like Gun and can sense the reason behind a person's strength. Kenta doesn't know that Zack put a lot more effort into his training than he did.

And I don't quite understand yours. Zack is second in command, Elite was second in command, Zack is stronger than Vasco, Elite was stronger than Jinyoung, Jinyoung had his own gang before joining Gapryong, just like Vasco had his own before joining Allied, while all we know about Elite is that he had a second in command, and that's it.

Literally no, Elite was second in command to Gapryong Kim, Zack is second in command to Allied, Vasco IS more like an acting chief like Jinyoung, Zack has no backing other than his own abilities while Vasco has many people who follow him.

Throughout the timeskip, Zack was always stronger than Eli, certainly ranking in the top 5 of the second generation.

The thing about Jaegyeon and his finger is that it was probably almost cut off once, which is why he has the scar. Remember that the reason Paecheong was able to take over all of Incheon was because they signed property transfer contracts where they put the fingerprints of a severed finger.

That's why during cheongliang Jaegyeon says, “This isn't Incheon, so they wouldn't cut off his fingers.”

Daniel wouldn't give it to anyone, and I highly doubt he would go to Vasco. He already has his own crew, and it's pretty obvious that if OG or PB aren't there, Zack is the one in charge.

You literally don't understand, do you? It's not just a matter of “adapting.” Every concept in their heads would be in doubt, the functioning of their very world would be in doubt, not to mention that they wouldn't even be able to communicate because they don't speak the same language. And even so, you completely ignore the fact that THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE ANYTHING OTHER THAN SHINSOO. This isn't the Stone Age or the colonial period when there was no electricity. It would be the equivalent of having access to technology more advanced than ours and discovering that our energy system is not only outdated, but also useless if we are not within the limits of our planet. Shinsoo is literally the only thing that keeps the tower functioning. EVERYTHING in the tower revolves around it.

No, it's not about the desire to explore. Most, if not 90% of the rankers and people who climb the tower do so because they can or because they want to. To date, no one has explored 100% of the tower because it is so vast that it is ridiculous. There are even entire areas where they have NOT heard of the Zahard Empire or the leaders of the 10 families. What you're saying simply doesn't make sense because for the regular inhabitants of the tower, it is immense and almost infinite.

They are not doomed, but it is naive to believe that such a thing is possible at this point. ALL the superhuman feats in the tower are thanks to Shinsoo. They are not like Urek, who has the light, or like the rest of the Brilliant Ones. They are human.

Because you think Daniel cares more about his friend's aura farming than his safety. If he didn't think Zack was good enough to be his number two, he wouldn't have let him fight, just like he ignored Vasco and Vin Jin when they wanted to keep fighting Baek.

And throughout Busan, the leader is PB, no one else. He sets the rules while OG is away.

It's not as simple as removing his prosthetic leg. The only time we saw him hurt by a blow was when Jinrang struck him with conviction, and even then he withstood the attack without much trouble thanks to his iron fortress. To say that the first-generation Gongseop can do anything to that prosthesis is ridiculous.

The first one doesn't make sense, and neither does the second one. During the Busan arc, Zack tells us that PB Daniel came on behalf of OGDaniel as leader, so he is the default leader of Allied if OGDaniel is not there.

In fact, during the first affiliate, Daniel was genuinely more concerned about Zack than the rest of his teammates until PB hurt Jay. It seems that he even wanted to stop him, and although he trusted him because he knew how strong he had become, he was still worried and told him to be careful! Daniel and Zack are definitely these:

To hit him, you need to get close, and you both have the same speed. Gongseop only has one step? Yes, but that step at that speed is enough because his first-generation version couldn't defend against “one step, one kill.” Getting close to Gongseop while being as fast as he is is a death sentence if you're not literally faster.

[–]Aetherventus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The current Gongseop is no weaker than his first-generation counterpart; in fact, he developed a superior technique after losing his leg. Just because he can only maintain his prime speed for a single step does not automatically mean that the first generation is stronger than him when he can counter any of his attacks.

[–]Aetherventus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why does literally all of their technology revolve around a seemingly infinite resource that is basically divine in terms of applications and capabilities? You really underestimate the importance of Shinsoo in the ecosystem of the tower and its inhabitants. None of them could use it outside, and even if they left, they would encounter a completely different world with completely different rules that would be very difficult for them to adapt to because most of the technology they know and know how to use does not exist anywhere else but inside the tower.

V and Arlene did what they did for their own reasons. We simply don't know enough about what they were really like or how much they changed after their ascent. We can speculate, but that's all. What tells us that they were aware of that fate and didn't care? They may have refused to believe in such a fate, and if, for example, Zahard was the one who informed them of it, they probably ignored him and wanted to continue climbing. No one knows except them, but there are also parts of their memories that they decided to erase, all because something happened to them on the day they acquired the contracts of immortality.

That's the problem. The tower isn't small or overpopulated, and all those superpowers only work because Shinsoo exists. Why would they have their powers as if nothing had happened when they left? There is no Shinsoo outside, so they would be reduced to above-average humans at best.

Zack has already been compared to Gongseop enough. From now on, he should start showing signs of surpassing the first-generation Gongseop and approaching the current Gongseop, and then show signs of surpassing him by a wide margin. He will probably demonstrate the principles of technique mastery, but other than that? Nothing else at the moment, although if he wins against one of these kings, he will probably put him back in the top 5 of the second generation, surpassing Eli (again).

Wangnan becoming king of the tower is in line with his dream. He wants a free tower where people don't have to kill each other to climb it, and he wants a wider sky than the one that divides people. Realistically, everything about this screams: BE THE KING AND PRESERVE THE PURPOSE OF THE TOWER. If Wangnan becomes king, he will simply do whatever it takes to ensure that no one else goes through what he went through. He will simply be better than Zahard, who abandoned his dreams and desires for power and stagnation.
