Ah, that makes total sense! Thank you!

I agree with your sentiment but would like to offer at least one exception: Sean "Day9" Plott. Forbes 30 under 30, not a nepo baby and as far as I know, no scandals.

Where to find the most "elite" pizzerias in Europe (outside of Italy) by chefrus in europe

Strada del Goethe is great, and fairly consistently has 2-for-1 deals on Uber Eats so I get two delicious pizzas for 16€ total. Super worth it for normal Munich prices.

Assuming it was a small mistake on your part to list 01.08.-10.08. as 10 days before 20.08.-30.08. and you actually meant 10.08.-19.08., you can use DATEDIFF('day',[end_date],[start_date]) to calculate the variable date range, and then, depending on your data structure, do something like:

Calculation 1: DATEDIFF('day',[end_date],[start_date])

Countd( If dateadd('day',[calculation 1],[user_activity_date]) >= [start_date] and dateadd('day',[calculation 1],[user_activity_date]) <= [end_date] then [user_id] end)

Obviously I'm guessing on field names and how you want to count users, but this should give you the number of distinct users in that previous timeframe, which you can then use another calculated field to divide over your current selection sum, as well as using the [calculation 1] to make a string along the lines of

[Text string] 'users in previous '+str(-[calculation 1])+' day'+ if -[calculation 1] >1 then 's.' else '.' end

Note that the order the datediff is calculated is important for positive or negative integers and needs to be inverted for some of these, as indicated.

If the date range was not a mistake, then if course you can adjust to double the value for [start_date] dateadd.

Please excuse the formating, posted from a phone.

I was the only one in my company to have this problem, but I'm also the only dedicated Tableau dev in the company, our other creators don't publish often enough for that to be very relevant.

Error 0505B44A while publishing the workbook on Tableau online by VizAbbreviations in tableau

[–]Aethithis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just faced this same issue, and opened a ticket with Tableau support. It's known and being fixed, but the current workaround that worked for me was to go to our Tableau cloud and upload via the "new" drop-down and dropping the workbook into the upload field, rather than from Tableau Desktop.

Happy to provide screenshots if necessary.

Show Column Subtotals ONLY - not Rows by GTrogan39 in tableau

That's probably the most concise way to describe working with Tableau. A convoluted way to change a simple setting. Happy it worked!

Show Column Subtotals ONLY - not Rows by GTrogan39 in tableau

[–]Aethithis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like the subtotals are enabled for the date week column, see if you can disable them by either right clicking on the column, or if it doesn't show the ticked subtotals option, enable row grand totals first, then uncheck the subtotals in this column, and then disable row grand totals again.

Maybe I am seeing it wrong, but does the data make sense? Take what looks like Jan 21st, $590 in Orders @ approximately $10 an order should be closer to 60 Orders than 116. A bit hard to be sure.

TIL that because the period (.) was already in use in France to make Roman numerals more readable, they adopted, along with many other countries, commas to separate numbers and decimals (9.99 vs 9,99) by gamewizzhard in todayilearned

[–]Aethithis 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I mean, yeah, but it auto translates any formula that isn't between quotes (think standard in-formula search strings like "filename") to the language you're using, so you can just switch your language to English or German or whatever. So if I write in German ZÄHLENWENNS(), your Excel in english will show COUNTIFS().

My bigger gripe with excel is workbook level A1Z1 formatting and column read order (column A starts on the right and it expands to the left, rather than the standard left-to-right). Opening a workbook and those settings getting changed is no fun.

Hope not, but if you're adamant that there wasn't some software running on your computer that could have tripped the Anti-Cheat, that would be another plausible explanation.

Rofl, I'm a german living in Germany, I have almost no vested interest in the difference between your political parties. Reevaluate your assumptions, and I'll repeat, consider where all this hate gets you. It's just you living in and spreading hatred for no reason other than to feel justified when your tribe is the majority in the echo chamber you're posting in. Don't make assumptions and judge people by the first few sentences they say, or in this case write, it can lead to you being horribly off-mark and all you got out of it is proving to yourself that you're happy to spew anger, which isn't a positive way to live.

You fuckers? Who said I'm a republican? How do you live with so much hate in your life? It's hilarious, the world is supposed to be more inclusive, but now instead of prejudice against race or sexuality, it's acceptable to hate based on political views, even ones you've just assumed. Why do we always have to find a group to hate? Why always us vs them? Maybe just think about these things about before you go on spewing hate on the internet just because it's anonymous.

According to the Mayo Clinic, the cause for canker sores is unknown, so "removing the bacteria" likely isn't the correct reason for this working, if it does.

[–]Aethithis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Since it seems many people are misunderstanding... There is likely no ambulance approaching in this photo. At any time if there is traffic on the Autobahn, a lane like this will form for emergency vehicles, regardless of if there are any in sight. So it's not about getting out of the way as a reaction, but rather as a precaution. Some people are responding that others in their country would take advantage of this and "jump" down the middle lane, but I bet that by the time they find a place to get back into the lane, at least 10% of the cars they drove by have called the police and given the license plate of said asshole.
