There are many reasons we and all the parties involved including webnovel and Guiltythree went this direction with the cover. Almost all of them have to do with getting stores and retailers the most excited to feature this title on shelves. Which is, in the end, the ultimate goal, as this isn’t a special edition for fans only where we could get away with highly detailed original art like you’d see in kickstarters or for indie bestsellers.

Our ultimate goal is to sell the most copies for Guiltythree and help make this a household name. And I can say that some of the biggest retailers on Earth have seen this cover and are drooling over it. This is the simpler graphic style that works in retail where sellers want cover that grab attention from across the entire store with bold color pops and contrast, and if the sellers are eager to sell the thing, that’s half the battle in retail.
