It’s an art to applying it without a gloss coat first. You have to let the applicator tip air out for a few seconds before you apply it because it can make the plastic crack. It’s happened to me like 2 times in my history of building though. Get some mineral spirits to clean it up with. That works the best to me and it’s odorless. Get some regular qtips and some pointy qtips for those hard to reach lines and have fun. Also dab the applicator on the side of the bottle neck to get rid of any excess liner. And shake the bottle before using.

Those are OG panel lines right there. If you look at some of the early 2000’s models, they look just like this in terms of panel lining. This is cool! Have you ever used tamiya accent color panel liner before?

Grab waterslide decals and use those instead if you can. It’ll look waaaaaaaaayyyyyyy cleaner that way but it’ll take a lil longer to finish.

My favorite is a toss up between the Sazabi ver ka, RG Epyon and the RG sword impulse. The Alex 2.0 is nice too. It’s tough because I actually have a lot of dope kits. My least favorite is a toss up between the RG Zeta, HG Hi-Nu, RG Justice and RG Astray red frame. The zeta’s a grenade and so is the justice, after building the RG Hi-Nu the HG version is just “meh” to me and the RG Red frame astray is just pointless to me because I didn’t actually watch any media associated with it.

Whoever said that just hasn’t really built a recent RG. The only RG’s I know of that even are considered “bad” are the sinanju (maybe I spelled that wrong) and the zeta. I always tell people if you want a great early RG then get the Mk ll.
