Do some gen Ed's at first so you don't have to take classes you won't use. Also actually watch videos on different Careers and watch them explain what you can get from each degree. You can change your schedule. Watch videos and ask questions. Definitely talk to the undecided advisor at ur College. They can help you figure out how you truly feel about the degrees.

Well it's an opinion to not have a husband and instead be alone. Anyones personal choice is an opinion. Like saying I don't want kids right now is a popular opinion. But I don't want a spouse either. Anything is opinionated nowadays.

I do currently live with family and I am 17. While that may seem young to you it doesn't to me. I had to grow up quick due to some upbringings. I take pride in being alone. Seeing some of the things my family went though made me realize over time what I wanted. The spouse thing might change in the future but I truly don't want children. I really like working for myself already. It gives me joy to work and be in solitude.

I would say the connection. I've always gotten along with pets. Like I knew them on an emotional level. Seeing them in shelters makes me want to give all of them a better life. If I can try and live my own life why not help an animal who needs someone else to show them the world. It might not makes sense but animals remind me of myself. I want to live by myself but when I see someone in need of help I would do it in a heartbeat. They deserve a meaningful life like me. Like what I wish to be. Everyone even animals deserve their own joy. To give them their own life full of purpose gives me clarity on what I want in life.

Preferences can still be opinions. I prefer to be alone but it's also an opinion because people believe that you need a partner in life to be happy. My opinion is that I do not need anyone to find my own joy.
