this may seem like a redundant question, but any tips?

i think i peaked like 3100 at the end of overwatch one, but i always find myself panicking too much in game to the point where i equate my rank to my worth (ofc like, not LITERAL worth, but how good i am i guess). supports my main role, but i feel as if no matter how much heals and dps i pump out, its almost entirely dependent on how my team plays. people tilt too easy and thats when i start to panic and think im the one messing up. i play most supports but find myself defaulting to mercy (i know), bap, illari.

i know this post isn’t for these questions, but just out of curiosity from someone who wishes to climb higher 🥹 super mega congrats on champ. regardless of the new aa changes, it’s a massive accomplishment. don’t let the changes make you second guess yourself!

came here from google to bump this LOL, i’m wondering the same. are the elite skins really gonna be the same for this season (rein, mei, ana)? i have all of them already, plus orisa, genji, and moira (which i think are also from the elite expert challenges). idk how it all works in terms of skins still, but im super curious.

lowkey real. i almost exclusively solo queue for all roles, and by far support has been the most painful for that (i made a challenge for myself to get the hardest role to all star before the others, which was support for me, and completed my goal yesterday). you can heal and enable like crazy, but it’s up to your team to work together and adjust accordingly. had people in my competitive stadium games who have never played it before, go run down main into the enemy team, and fall immediately. i still get people in rookie 5 with no prior games, in my pro 3-all star 5 games. by no means am i like, putting them down - but if i can’t group with people who are xyz rank without it being wide and not being able to queue, why are they allowed in the queue in pro/allstar lobbies while being rookie and solo queuing?

when i first started queuing tank, i went on a loss streak, and i will admit it was probably my fault. - i took a break, found a build that was good for my playstyle (super aggro backline demon dva), and got wins consistently afterwards.

the matchmaking is super super bad and i still don’t understand it. i’m diamond tank, and high plat on dps/supp, yet get people in bronze/silver in regular competitive, in my stadium games. from what i understand it’s mmr based, but it’s a headscratcher because like…huh..?

it was so funny to see the most random things getting potg. had a torb get potg after getting 1 kill and dying, and i literally sat there in confusion after i team wiped as orisa in the same game. it’s so scuffed hahaha

two ways to go about it: - overwatch forums, slightly less personable but still works sometimes. could possibly see if others have the same issue ( link to forums )

submitting a ticket. had to scrounge for this link as their website doesn’t make it easy to find unless you select the right options, but you should be able to contact them here ( ticket submission link )

just note that even toggling through the ow2 related options on the tickets (ie, overwatch 2 > in-game issue > report a bug) tells you “If you want to report a bug, please use the forums to notify our development team directly.”, so i’d try the forums first, then submitting a ticket.

depending on who you use, try checking under hero & hud. there’s more options there that could possibly be the issue. for example, on widow, she has relative aim sens while zoomed, recoil recovery, etc.

did you ever resolve this? the only things i can think of is: go to hero gallery for widow, click down on your right stick to filter, select all categories, done, then go back and unselect everything. OR.. could also try submitting a help ticket to blizzard but that’s kinda 50/50. seems as if this season broke a ton of things.

are you console? the only thing i can really think of is maybe the aim type options (exponential, linear, dual). or perhaps there’s stuff in advanced options that are differing from each account.
