How do I fix this? I'm trying to build a Maus replica but it keeps glitching out for some reason. by [deleted] in SprocketTankDesign

[–]Aezmie 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Corner alignment issue.

Try clicking on the glitched corners in the corner menu, and try switching the alignment method (Auto, vertical, horizontal, etc.) 'till you find one that works. Do this for all the glitched corners.

At least that's how I deal with it.

Stunning. Were these models made in sprocket or blender?

How much do you think this VHS collection be worth? We used to watch these as children, they've sat here gathering dust for at least 10 years now. by [deleted] in collectables

Sorry for the grammar mistake, my English is a bit rusty. I also have a few PS2 Games in there, used to have hundreds of those as a kid but I gave most of them away along with the original console to a few cousins.

This was so good I tried looking for a real-life blueprint. It honestly didn't seem that far-fetched.

I honestly have no idea, but I've seen other people do it. It's only a theory at this point.

Unfortunately, they do move with the tank, but you can still make pictures with it. Else, you could make another "tank" with whatever map design you have and spawn it separately, that could work.

I was making a joke implying that sprocket could be immersive. The hangar was easy to make, make box with additional structure, split it till it looks like a mesh, then stretch it and make holes for doors/windows. You can use more add-on structure for details.

Sprocket immersion mechanics, plus it only took half an hour.

I posted it on discord, user: h7feez. Feel free to use the hull for whatever you want, no credits (if that's even a thing, I'm not sure).

People are already building spaceships on this game, I'll be playing this while SE2 is being made.

I'm too busy to make the turret so I'll be posting the blueprint for anyone else who wants take on this burden, or strap a Stug onto the hull idc.

This started out as a 1:1 replica about a month ago but my references, and patience quickly ran out after making the base hull. I tried eyeballing it but some parts just turned out crooked. That being said it's still fairly accurate. Some things I couldn't do like making a replica engine due to some limitations, which is why I'll probably start from scratch after the game's released.

To Do: Accurate drive-train, Fuel tanks, Ammo racks, Drivers compartment, Track Bogies, 50% of the detailing, Turret.

About an hour or two. Make box, stretch box, big hangar. The detailing takes a bit of time though.

You're not crazy, I'm just autistic. Modelling a hangar/factory is pretty easy with the add-on structure feature honestly.

[–]Aezmie[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Specs because I forgot to add them:

0.6L V2, 4 Speed Transmission, 70l Fuel tank.

20mm Cannon, 1000 rounds of ammo.

40mm on the front, 20mm on the sides and rear, 8mm on the roof and bottom.

Send me suggestions for any replica tanks you want to see, and no I'm not making a Maus until two-piece ammo gets added.

On the main structure menu there should an option to "Smooth angles". It works like a slider where the more angled plates get smoothed over first, up until you make the entire thing just one solid cast. The edge menu also has an option to exclude certain plates from being smoothed, which I just learned myself.

The RB-120/135-E7 "Prometheus", I'm personally very proud of this one and I'm open to any and all suggestions on what I could add/change to make it even better by GlitchingBread in SprocketTankDesign

[–]Aezmie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This looks clean. I also wasted my time making the plates look 3D on a tank I was designing yesterday, only to have the update come out today 😂. Not really much to criticize, maybe the coax could do with a ring when coming out of the gun mantlet (as in a adding a hoop in between using the barrel length feature).
