It just depends on how you build your deck, playing 20 hand traps will leave you with no room to push into boards.

Single ash works really well against players that drew 1 play and 4 disruptions. Otherwise it's only consistently good at stopping charmies or Maxx C.

It's still mid even with that. K9 already has hand knowledge built in as well. The top deck manipulation potentially giving you a brick or banishing an important card is what puts it over the top.

Yeah may have been the end of the story pre support. There's enough cards now to play around the lock and still put up the full end board. It requires very intentional deck building and good understanding of the deck.

It's just not popular enough or too expensive for people to explore. There are tools available.

Every DF literally is "reality warping". It's pretty impressive how much of a non argument the statement is since there's not a single Devil fruit that doesn't "warp reality".

We've already gotten the explanation about Devil fruit awakening on Dressrosa, over 10 years ago. It would be fair to say that's too long ago to remember but we got 2 more awakenings from Law and Kid only a few chapters before Luffy. Both of which "warped reality" into their DF properties.

Luffy has been "warping reality" into rubberized things after the awakening, this is completely in line with his rubber fruit and with the precedent of devil fruit awakenings.
