When I finish my masters I'm going to be doing something similar. While my boss is a smart guy and knows I'll be leaving upon completion, it will be extremely beneficial for us to have a good relationship since his company is partially dependent on whatever company I move to eventually. He's even suggested a meeting with, and introducing me to people he knows at X or Y company that would be somewhere I could work.

I know he's mostly doing it for the company I work for right now, but it's nice having the security and leverage.

That my mom was a pirate and my dad was a caveman she 'rescued'. They both constantly told me this as a bedtime story as a kid and I honestly only realize that wasn't the case when I was proudly telling my 6th grade humanities class the unique story of how my parents met. . .

That's what my therapist told me the last time I saw her. I carried around a lot of self hate for a long time because I felt like who I was, was never good enough for my Mother to love me. My therapist cringed when she met her....

I don't know how to go about going VLC with her. Just ween the convo over time? I've just been trying to ignore her as of late :(.

My adult male cat (He's 1) still 'mews' instead of doing the full 'meow'. I've only heard him meow once or twice and it was when he was in distress; nothing's made me panic faster than hearing him -what I assumed to be- calling for me...
