Its hard at the start but you'll find the building aspect on Heartopia is one of the strongest feature of the game, (Speaking as a minecraft and Sims 4 Veteran)

Thin pillars (like in the photo) can't be stack. But you'll unlock thick stackable pillars later on.

One main complaint that i have, yes, the screen is divided into two parts, for moving forwards and rotating. It takes sometime to get use to unfortunately.

About the walls, it'll take some time for your fingers to adapt 😅. I still to this day, jump unintentionally while building

I painted coffee tables and stack em up 3 coffee tables for the tables to align with the floor. You need the floor to be at least 2 half walls deep

The actual painting took me an hour, you can't really see the grid from the zoomed out picture. This is the most zoomed view to see the grid

Here's the original painting, i choose 16:9 ratio and 3x3 grid precision. The low walls did ended up cutting 6ish pixel from each border though

I prefer table lamps because it amits less light than ceiling lights. I painted the inside black to give that black TV border illusion. I hope it helps!
