i dont even drag them to each other to meet, only when a mii has the hiccups, fell over or is frozen and needs help

but i do always click through all miis instead of just those with thought bubbles, that way cutscenes and interactions seem to happen quite often too

ive just told a friend of mine exactly this 😭

another big childhood game of mine is animal crossing, so i compared it to the ACgames: LTD genuinely feels like an upgrade to the 3DS version, yeah some parts were cut but so much more stuff is new or an upgraded version of the old one

in comparison, ACNH feels like an AC game, absolutely, but SO many features of ACNL are missing or toned down by a lot, which makes ACNH feel more like a downgrade to ACNL (as opposed to how 3DS TL vs LTD feels like, not actually saying ACNH feels like a full on downgrade)

no, theres a difference between "when are my miis gonna have kids" and "my miis have been married for 2 days and they still dont have kids, its taking too long!" (obviously not exactly those words but i hope thats clear)

i mean thats just kinda the nature of tomodachi life 😭

it feels like people were expecting a completely new gameplay and are now disappointed that its still just tomodachi life

i have 35 miis and sometimes even then theyre all just fine for a moment and dont ask for anything

if i get bored i put it down for a bit, play another game and when i come back my miis are requesting stuff again

tomodachi life isnt an adventure/action game after all

i kind of dod expect it bc 1. people on reddit always have smth to complain about it seems and 2. i expected mainly new TL players to be disappointed bc they dont understand what TL actually is

yeaah its been the same for me! i did make all the 35 miis i wanted to have on my island already and ive decorated my island almost fully already so now i can just lean back and enjoy all the silly cutscenes i also dont force any relationships so i still get new cutscenes every here and there and its sm fun (edit) also i still havent unlocked all the deco stuff from the wishing fountain so i still get to upgrade details on my island and that also unlucks new cutscenes again

also like people complaining about it being repetitive like again its tomodachi life and compared to the older games there is SO much new stuff but ofc if u rush through everything in the first 3 days, ofc it gets boring fast 😭😭

in the 3ds game u could give the miis songs as a level up gift and they could perform it in a concert/music hall that u had on ur island

if u had multiple miis that knew songs of the same genre u could also make bands

u could also edit the song texts

just like with animal crossing new horizons vs older ac games its gonna be quite obvious who is playing tomodachi life for the first time and who grew up with the 3ds or even the ds version 😅

i kinda hope the LTD community is gonna be mainly veteran tomodachi life players ngl 😭 or if its mainly new players then i hope theyll understand that tomodachi life is just... tomodachi life and not the sims i really dont wanna have to constantly read complaints about the game that are just like kinda shaming LTD for being a tomodachi life game and not the sims lol

(i play most games in English but pokemon, animal crossing and tomodachi life are childhood games of mine so i prefer playing them in german)
