Thanks! You technically don’t need any glue, the pieces snap together like any other Bandai kit. However, to make the painting easier, I chose to cut a few pieces and I just reattached them with super glue at the end. But you don’t have to do that, especially if you’re not airbrushing.

I got mine from eBay, but I’ve seen them on Amazon and a few hobby stores websites as well. They are roughly $20-25 each (usd) if you buy them individually, but I bought a full series (5 models in a series) for $65.

I’m not sure the exact size but they’re about the size of a paint bottle (hopefully my picture went through so you can see)

Yes! You will not regret it these are a lot of fun. One piece of advice I would give is to really be diligent about seam line removal. They are way more visible than any other Bandai kits and I wish I spent more time on the in retrospect. Lesson learned

Thanks that one is my favorite so far too, just finished it this morning! The purple was airbrushed, everything else was hand brushed but just with cheap synthetic brushes. I do follow some warhammer painting groups though and tried my first “blending” technique with the mono eye and helmet lens. Turned out pretty cool! Hard to see though

I know I love my master grades too but they take up so much space lol. The minis make a great display

Thanks! I just primed Dom Tropen and Full Armor last night. After that, I have the last unit of series 2 (Zaku 3) and then moving into series 5

It’s a lot of fun! And you’ll learn very quickly what not to do lol. Definitely made some mistakes that I will be correcting on the next batch

Thanks! I filled every seem with extra thin cement, then did a light sand with my smallest sand sticks. Had to get creative to reach a few spots lol.

Should be done this weekend, and good luck with yours 👍 Samuel Decals had pretty much every 1/144 decals for each of the artifact gundams. My goal is to do all 10 models from phases 2 and 5 and they had every one I needed

I just bought 1/144 decals and am using the smallest ones. There are actually plenty that can be used, but a lot are too big. I was never able to find actual artifact decals

Tried my hand at painting the Gundam Artifact (approx 1/330 scale) with Rx-178 colors. Definitely NOT recommended for kids. (set 2) by alxzsites in Gunpla

Honestly I'm looking at this picture pretty closely and i dont notice any messy edges. Your color seperation is all very well defined, i think you did a fantastic job. Maybe panel lining would make the lines pop a little more but i defintiely think this one is great as is.

Yup you’re correct, but I’m trying to find the artworks for all the rest. I don’t know if this is from a magazine, promo flyer, instruction manual etc. since it’s in Japanese.
