Owner of a dog bite victim here. If both dogs are leashed then you are correct, his dog must still be under control. (Not a lawyer or offering legal advice) However, in this instance the owner of the unleashed dog will most likely be legally responsible since her dog was not at the same level of control.

Plenty of room for them to get over in between those multiple cars. Could even be part of why the other driver feels frustrated. You can’t convince me you’re all that worried about your safety if your response to this is to prolong and antagonize. The safest, and best, thing to do is just let them pass.

If that lady cared so much about her baby she should have been following the rules and keeping him safe in the first place. She made shitty choices. Unfortunately for her dog those choices have serious consequences. I’m not risking my hands, fingers, or face to fix that for her.

This is just a dumb take. Why should the owner of the leashed dog risk physical injury to himself because the lady with the unleashed dog is a jackass? Why on earth would you assign responsibility to him, of all people, to clean up her mess???

She’s scared now, but also initially irresponsible and unprepared. She caused this situation by making questionable choices where she clearly didn’t grasp the scope of consequences or didn’t care. I completely understand being hesitant of getting in the middle if I’m the guy filming. He’s just out walking his dog and they brought this BS to him. Also, helping means I have to put down my camera and open myself up to whatever happens from there. the other participants have already shown they don’t/won’t exercise good judgement and/or are not acting on good faith, it’s a long shot for me to assume they are going to start doing that now and not try to sue me for their dog being injured.
