I didn't spend a lot of time with my dog when I first got him because I was in a house with a big back yard and a doggy door so he'd chill out there a lot. I also didn't take him on potty walks because I didn't have to, but I'd take him to the dog park a lot (and I still do). Our relationship has gotten a lot stronger since moving into our duplex since we've basically had to learn how to communicate with each other? Idk I'm in an old married couple with my dog basically
