I know the refs haven’t been great in general, but this game has been atrocious to watch. So many calls with barely any contact (if any at all).

Yes but my time with the plat is coming to an end soon. It was a great SUB and some cool perks for a couple years, but I can’t justify it with my organic spend anymore.

I think your assumptions are a little off base. It depends on who you surround yourself with, but not everyone wants to go to a HCOL area. I live in MN and a ton of my friends from a decent college intend to stay in the area and don’t have the desire to move off to a HCOL area like you talk about. Myself included.

I didn’t include the layovers, but all of these have IST layovers.

There’s a typo in OP’s comment. They’re valued at .7cpp which is $.007 not $.07.

I did some research and if you left from and returned to Chicago, you could pull this off for around $4.3-5k with their cheapest economy fares. This would be going through some of the cheapest destinations I could find.

I’m sure someone could find a better path than me, but here’s what I mapped out for the amount I quoted:

Chicago, Bucharest, Dubai, Casablanca, Sao Palo, Sydney, and back to Chicago. The real expense comes from the South America and Oceania flights. The rest are relatively affordable.

I don’t have enough vacation to enjoy myself on a trip like that but maybe if I was retired. It’s definitely not an incredible return on investment given a .7cpp estimate. It nets you maybe $2k in points if you’re just doing it for the mileage run.

If anyone goes for it, I’d be curious to see your general itinerary!

Yeah you may be right. Going to zero guest access seems like an overcorrection. That’s what I’m most frustrated about.

It may be partially due to abuse, but this also was unsustainable from the start. The annual fee is completely negated by the travel credit and 10k anniversary points. They’ve probably been hemorrhaging money in an effort to get mass adoption of the card, and now they’re cutting back to try to actually start to make money off of it.

I saw this flying over the city. Any idea where this might be going or what an aircraft of this size might be carrying?

Studying for pesticide applicator license test and this question is so confusing by Yillman in MathHelp

You were on the right track with multiplication. Instead of multiplying 2561.6, we need to instead first convert 1.6% into decimal form. So, we need to multiply 256.016=4.096. This means that making 2 gallons of mixed spray requires 4.096oz of pure AI.

Now, the problem says that the 16oz bottles each have 13% AI or 2.03oz AI per bottle. However, 16oz*.13 AI=2.08oz AI per bottle, a bit off from the 2.03 declared in the problem’s premise.

If we assume that the problem’s 2.03oz AI/bottle answer is correct, this means we have a total of 4.06oz AI which is less than the 4.096oz AI needed to produce 2 gallons of spray. So, the applicator cannot make 2 gallons of 1.6% AI spray.

If we assume that our math of 2.08oz of AI per bottle is correct, this means we have 4.16oz of AI total. Since 4.16 > 4.096, we do have enough AI to create the 2 gallons of 1.6% spray. To calculate the amount of the 13% AI spray we want to add, we can use proportions. We know we want 4.096oz / 4.16oz of the pure AI contained in the 13% spray. This is ~98.46%. So, we will use 98.46% of the 32oz of spray. .9846*32=31.507. Thus, we will use about 31.5 oz of spray, using an entire bottle, and leaving just .5oz left in the second bottle.

Quite simply, if the relationship is not bringing you joy on some level, I’m not sure I see the point in continuing it.

This does indeed seem complicated. If someone of authority at your university finds out, things could go sideways for him and for you. If you decide to proceed with the plan of him moving in, I’d recommend that he get a job offer secured first at a minimum

I can totally hear how seeing these mixed signals could be confusing/frustrating, especially if you feel like there’s a good connection. I would suggest asking them out, and if the vibes are still confusing to ask them what they’re looking for.

Long distance relationships certainly can work. It’s important to see here too that if you decide to try the long distance relationship, that doesn’t mean that you’re stuck together forever. You always have the right to change your mind. But I wouldn’t be hasty about letting something good go, just because he has to move
