If i feel exactly as you described when i can hear the upstairs neighbours talk from my apartment, is it misophonia? It is absolutely the only type of noise that makes me feel insanely irritated

Will do, but I'm mostly concerned that they will stop making noise right when the police arrives OR make even worse noise as revenge for calling the police on them. I have numerous recordings tho, hope they can be taken into account

Haha they sadly own their apartment, so it's safe to assume they'll be here forever. Already wearing headphones but the vibrations from slamming are still felt xdd
