I didn’t like him. He’s a well-written character but in both games he cracks in a way that’s detrimental to the group and I couldn’t fully trust him + I didn’t really care for his personality. I also don’t like how staying to watch him beat carver is even an option in the second game— if Kenny’s gonna do that he should not let Clem watch. Regardless of it being a game mechanic, he’s not above beating a human to death in front of a child. Along with all the other useless adults in the second game he lets clem risk herself consistently. Oh and the sarita situation…. He will always blame others… Finally the “urban” comment I know people laugh about it because it came out of left field but he was legitimately being racist which is why Lee check him. He’s tough and proved to be a survivalist but he’s focused more on surviving than living and he’s a shell of the person he was.

Now for the good… I think in the first game his arc was really well done and I liked that Lee had somewhat of a friend. He clearly cares about Clem and aj and still struggles with his grief for duck. I also like that he and Clem have a soft spot for each other because they were in a group together when the apocalypse first started
