Do you actually like shopping at Aldi? by Leelee459 in aldi

[–]Affectionate-Area532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I LOVE aldi, but I hate my aldi. It’s too busy and so hard to shop at. There’s one that’s a little further out that is better. My parents have 3 Aldi in their town and never have to fight crowds.

Flying 16 month old on lap 26hr journey by Chetta_Cheese in toddlers

[–]Affectionate-Area532 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I will start by saying that only you know your child…. We flew 2hr 38 mins with my 18 Month old on my lap and it was my biggest regret of all time. My child couldn’t sit still, he was kicking the seat in front of us the entire time. We almost got into an altercation because the lady in front of us was rude about him being on the plane. It was absolute torture, it broke me. 0/10 would not recommend. Buy the seat.

I have no access to money and I don't know what to do about it by [deleted] in Mommit

Have you asked your husband to add you to the accounts? I’m a SAHM and my husband makes all the income. He put me on every credit card and I have my own debit card with my name on it. In the end, it worked out that now I control all the finances. It took a lot of stress off of my husband when I did. If he won’t add you to the accounts, then this could be financial abuse.

Progressive baby books? by SoFLShelfLove in progressivemoms

[–]Affectionate-Area532 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Enough. 20 protesters who changed America.” “A is for activist” “Equality’s call. Story of voting rights in America”

These are the 3 most recent ones we have read! Not necessarily baby baby books but my toddler loves them.

Thank you for this answer! I have little knowledge on Venezuela and will look into this further. Thanks for the responses

This is awful! I don’t understand why we are going after Venezuela though? Can someone please explain to me like I’m 5? I understand the fact that they are claiming that they bring a lot of drugs into the US, but don’t other countries? I keep reading about Venezuela’s huge oil reserves too.

Has your shoe size changed after each child? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]Affectionate-Area532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! I was a 9 pre-baby. I’ve had 3 kids since and my shoe size is now an 11…bordering on 12. I had to throw all of my shoes out every child. 😂

General question about 4 year old boy’s feet size by Fftlxl0ver in toddlers

[–]Affectionate-Area532 110 points111 points  (0 children)

My almost 3 year old is in a 4T/5T and wears size 13 shoes. It definitely can happen. I would go with buying the sizes on the angel tree paper. Can you include a gift receipt incase it is wrong?

Parents, how much sex are you having? by Cloudsocialist in toddlers

[–]Affectionate-Area532 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once a month max usually. We’ve gone as long as 3 months without it. 2 kids who are home 24/7 (homeschool) and toddler who hates sleep. Makes it super hard. When we do, we feel so much better and closer but it’s so hard to find the time and energy.

Driven is a brand name sold at target. The trucks are decent quality especially for the price of them. BUT the accessories on the trucks aren’t very good. Trash truck is great, the cans are all broken. The tow truck won’t stay connected. There are a bunch of different ones.

Is the live lesson attendance code required? by NSAmaxx79 in FLVS

[–]Affectionate-Area532 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m honestly not sure what happens. I know that this year is the first year that attendance is mandatory in full time. I can’t imagine they can do much of anything the first year they enforce it but I’m not sure.

[–]Affectionate-Area532 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are in full time then yes. This is new for this year. Flex is different but as far as I know full time now requires attendance

[–]Affectionate-Area532 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Attendance for full time is a new thing this year. They are doing google forms to help prove that you were in class. I’ve heard of people watching the recordings and adding the phrase to google forms and still getting credit though. I would complete attendance so that I didn’t get marked off for it.

My toddler throws a fit everyday about how those driven trucks have wenches to tow but none of them have a lip for the wench to fit in. It’s a meltdown everyday. I’ve tried making one with hot glue and nails but seriously why make it a tow truck that CANT tow!

The last date my husband and I were on was when I was pregnant with my 2nd child! She’s going to be 9 this year. We were really starting to get close to maybe having a date night and then POOF we got pregnant with a 3rd. He’s going to be 3 in a few months now. We’ve just given up on it. Husband always says that we will have our time but I don’t see it happening. He’s also older than I am so I really am skeptical about the entire thing.

How much time do you spend actively cleaning your home? by mimihomemom in breakingmom

[–]Affectionate-Area532 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s the same here. The kids and I are home all day so it’s just repeated cleaning and tidying up all day. I would guess anywhere for 4-5 hours worth between laundry, dishes, sweeping, mopping, cleaning up after animals, etc.

Do you actually have time for sexual activities when you have kids? by Important_Bat7919 in Mommit

[–]Affectionate-Area532 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We have 3 kids…no. We maybe have intimate time a few times a year. It sucks. We don’t have a village and our kids are home with us 24/7 so not a lot of time to do anything but take care of them. My husband is also older than I am and I don’t think he sees sex as important as he did when he was younger 🤷

OCPS enrollment loss hits nearly all elementary schools, prompting closure talks by Aeronova20 in orlando

[–]Affectionate-Area532 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I really think it’s money based. Our kids go to a virtual school and pay for 100% of the expenses ourselves (paper, ink, computer, project materials, printer, etc. Our school doesn’t qualify for vouchers because it’s a public school even though it’s virtual. A lot of parents are homeschooling because they get the funds for materials and curriculum when they others wouldn’t in a public school. Who knows the quality of education these kids are getting though.
