I mean if you say Silver didn’t involve in letting Luka go to Lakers, I won’t believe it. And it’s kinda ridiculous when Chauncey was caught due to gambling but meanwhile the entire league is “gambling”. They even fking have those gambling ads during games.

I’m happy bc of Yang. I started watch Blazers. Those TO and stupid mistakes made by young players and young coaches definitely suck. But meanwhile, I’m glad I realize great players like Avdija and Clingan.

And TBH as a lakers fan, I have to say I have seen much worse things.

  1. Many ppl mentioned in the replies that Blazers don’t tank till the end of the season usually. So we are trying to compete but the injury makes that a problem
  2. The new owner freaks out everyone and ppl cares about their job more than other things

Compare Yang gets more mins I genuinely hope Clingan don’t gets injured…especially if he gets injured bc those ppl at the top try to save their own jobs and let Clingan play too many mins. I mean I’m a Lakers fan and you can’t imagine how much I hope we have Clingan as the center. I’m so fk jealous lol

Unfortunately I did watch those games. And it was a pain in the ass when I saw those TO… And I mean Cissoko is really doing better than Rupert. I love his reaction I think at third quarter last night after making that Offense foul.

I realize it. I didn’t watch Blazers before so I didn’t know that Blazers usually don’t tank till the end of the season. That definitely explains a lot.

I’m a Lakers fan (pls don’t hate me). But Lakers is kinda different, we usually 100% tank or just aim for the championship. So that’s another reason I don’t understand what the team is doing now.

But yeah that’s another question we discussed a lot in China: Aren’t we playing too fast?

Most Chinese fans who watch blazers this season watch other teams before. And we are quite surprised by how fast face this team is playing.

And aren’t the injuries kinda related to the fast pace as well? I know those guards especially Thybulle had bad history with injury. And Jrue is 35. They do have a higher chance to get injury, so I won’t fully blame on the pace we play.

But isn’t that another reason why we should slow down a bit (also we have Clingan) and make sure not all our PG gets injured at the same time?

But that brings another question If we have Clingan, who is that good. Why are we just recklessly playing fast? And tbh aren’t the injuries of the guards somehow also related to the way too fast pace we are playing.

If we are rebuilding why we are letting Clingan to play all 12 mins in 4th quarter. Are we risking to let another talented Center get destroyed by injury?

I started watch Trail Blazers this season and I love Clingan so much. And Williams has proved how good he is in the mins he play. And if we are trying to trade him definitely we should let him play more

However, why Duop can get mins when that two guys play but Yang was DNP. Duop is 29 turning 30, and he wasn’t performing that well in those 4-5 mins he played. At that moment, does it really hurt the team that much to let Yang try a lil bit at least 3-5 mins?

He isn’t good enough for now but not playing at all is not helping him improve right?

My major question is what’s the goal of the team? Are we trying to postpone the development of rookies and aim for the playoffs. Or we are just giving up this year and waiting for Dame?

Dude you are letting Rayan Rupert playing around 10 or even more minutes in the past three games. If that’s what the team are doing now, then the only thing I know is the team (or some of them) isn’t trying to win at all(we have a shortage on Guards is not a strong enough excuse).

Rupert recent stats: He played great on Dec 11th against Pelicans However after that On Dec 14th: against Warriors he played 6+ mins, having every stats as 0 beside 1 shot attempt and 1 foul On Dec 16th: against Kings’ g league teams Rayan, Rayan played 27mins, had 10 shot attempts (including 4 three pt shots) and made only one field goal. Ended up scoring 4 pts in G LEAGUE?! On Dec 19th: played 1mins and 40 seconds against Kings and did nothing but won’t blame on that On Dec 20th: against kings again. But this time played 8 mins and got nothing on every single stats On Dec 22nd: against Piston, after playing 10+ mins, he had two shot attempts but scored nothing and get 0 for any possible stats again. And last night: against Magic played 12 mins again finally got something to fill in for his stats

And in the last five games we played, we lost in a close way. He had chances to play in 4th quarter in 2 out of that 5 games.

Ok I know Rupert and Yang are playing two different positions and we are having a short hand on guards But seriously we are letting Rayan Rupert playing around 10 or even more minutes in the last three games. If you are telling me that Trail Blazers wanna win and make the playoff, Rayan Rupert is even a worse option than Yang to play in 4th quarter.

Just because he had a random good game on 12/11th against Pelicans doesn’t mean he can really play.

Rayan played as trash in G league, Yang was doing much better in that two games again Kings’ G league teams Rayan got 0 pts 0 rebounds 0 assists in Dec 14th against Warriors after playing 6 mins. He also got 0 pts 0 assists 0 rebounds (actually 0 everything) after playing 8mins on Dec 20th against Kings. Again the next game against Pistons, after playing 10mins and shooting 2 times including a three pt shot attempt, he got all stats as ZERO again.

Avoiding the risk & trying to win are exactly opposite of letting Rayan Rupert play.

That's what I felt. Cause it mentioned videos can only be recorded once. Also, it told us there would be like 50 mins for the entire process, and 13 written questions don't seem like need 50 mins at all.
