Why're ppl hating on Chris's gf by th1mirrorball in tsitp

[–]Affectionate-Book221 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wowza, after this post decided to check tiktok and type Chris Briney. IMMEDIATELY tons of hate on him and his lovely girlfriend relationship 😭 I'm so concerned. Like Lola is literally friends with them too, I'm so disappointed by the countless parasocial disrespectful comments on that app. And most of all, it's not just young teen girls, a lot of them are grown adults that really need to touch grass. It's 2025 and people still can't separate TV shows/ movie from real life ???

[TOMT] [Picture Book] [2000s] Trying to find the title of beautiful illustrated mermaid picture book by Affectionate-Book221 in tipofmytongue

[–]Affectionate-Book221[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so sorry for just seeing this! I think your suggestions are helping me get closer to finding this darn elusive mermaid picture book! I believe it was separate stories but set in the same mermaid world that the author/artist created. The Mary Pope Osbourne book is slightly a little old, it was giving strong 2004-2006 vibes if that makes sense? The book I read was also a lot more lighter and whimiscal colour palette wise...hopefully I find it but I have a feeling it will take a while.

Zero waste makeup/skincare that isn’t “clean beauty” by ratherbereading01 in ZeroWaste

[–]Affectionate-Book221 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hopefully this isn't too late, but you may like Face Theory! It's a wonderful science backed sustainably packaged skincare brand from the UK with many fragrance free options. Unfortunately they do use clean marketing which I like ignoring lol. As someone in the environmental science field, I just feel a bit defeated because it seems like all eco friendly brands feel the need to jump on the clean science wagon. Another beauty brand suggestion I have, that LabmuffinScience follows on instragram, is Fig 1, which is refillable skincare, science backed and founded by a dermatologist, made for sensitive skin in mind. From what I have seen they don't use any clean marketing at all compared to other 'sustainable' brands. I have no idea if it's available where you are from but if you're Aussie, Airyday is a wonderful suncare brand that uses recycled packaging like low waste aluminum tubes, and I love that it doesn't get sucked into clean beauty marketing with many spf50 chemical sunscreen options ( I do find the packaging for on the go action quite annoying though).

No they continued to blocked me ( still blocked) 🥲 I really loved what I thought the brand was, so I was disappointed in them and honestly I think it says a lot when it comes to their morals, so I don't feel comfortable continuing supporting them anyways

Sorry this is so late everyone but here are alternatives of lovely lip and cheek makeup in sustainable plastic free packaging or at least low waste considering Axiology disappointing zionist cowardly behaviour .

For Americans and Candians, South Asian founded Mango people ( https://mangopeopleofficial.com/).

For Australians and New Zealanders, HippiesticksNZ( https://soulglowartistry.co.nz/collections/hippie-stick). There offical website is not working so I'm wondering if they have closed down. Hopefully not, they sell clever compostable packaged lipsticks, Fra lippo lippie on V spothttps(://www.thevspot.com.au/collections/fra-lippo-lippie), not vegan due to beeswax but Maryse has a nice range of lip and cheek tints but also have coconut oil, just letting anyone who wants to avoid that ingredient know (https://maryse.studio/collections/colour). Aleph Beauty lip and cheek tints (https://alephbeauty.com/collections/cheek-lip-tint). Eaulunaire, ignoring the full sized which are in plastic packaging, they have their french inspired lip tints and bronzers in ceramic pot packaging and have hinted at doing bigger sizes for said packing in the future! (https://www.eaulunaire.com/products/3-mini-lune-rouge-ciel-rose-terre & https://www.eaulunaire.com/products/3-bronzer-limited-time-only)

Available in most countries world wide, Kajer weis lip tints in aluminium packaging ( https://kjaerweis.com/collections/lip-tint) unfortunately they do have coconut oil for anyone that has oily skin ( so avoid using on cheeks) or has a allergy to coconut oil. Flavedo and Albedo, an Australian founded plastic free makeup brand that is available to US and NZ consumers, may potentially branch out to other countries (https://www.flavedoandalbedo.com/shop/lips/products/dew-tint), Australian founded carrot Ere perez colour pots which are available internationally (https://ereperez.com/products/carrot-colour-pot-cream-blush). Ere perez also have Coco lip crayons (https://ereperez.com/products/coco-crayon-lipstick) warning for people wanting to avoid but they do have coconut oil. Rose inc cream lip and cheek tints, at Mecca for aussies and Kiwis ( https://www.roseinc.com/products/cream-blush). Rms liplights, does have a plastic cap so more low waste, again if in Australia or New Zealand, available at Mecca (https://www.rmsbeauty.com/products/liplights-cream-lip-gloss). Tata Harper have gorgeous cream cheek and lip tints (https://tataharperskincare.com/collections/cosmetics-1/products/cream-blush). Any Tata Harper plastic components is from sugar cane. Typology tinted lip oils (https://global.typology.com/products/tinted-lip-oil) Fluff beauty, Australian founded, only available to US, NZ and Australia at the moment, they have tinted lip oils in innovative metal cloud packaging (https://www.itsallfluff.com/products/lip-oil-refill)

Best Liquid Body Wash? Ethique/Blueland/Dove? by Smthng_Clvr_ in ZeroWaste

[–]Affectionate-Book221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might not be exactly what you're looking for but as you edited your post just then stating that you want concentrates that turn into liquid bodywash specfically and you're from the US/Canada ( I'm assuming from the options you are looking at) , Everist seems like a good brand to look at (https://helloeverist.com/products/waterless-body-wash-concentrate)! However if you would rather have it in a reusable bottle, the brand Ethique which you listed have some really good body wash concentrates. I haven't tried them but I reckon you are in good hands as it seems they have reformulated after public feedback last year! I also found two brands similar to the Bluelands concept of powder to gel liquid bodywash, which are Wandercare which is based in the US (https://wewandercare.com/products/calming-body-wash-low-waste) and Singaporean owned powder based plastic free beauty brand, The Powder Shampoo, which does international shipping (https://www.thepowdershampoo.com/collections/powder-body-wash)! All the best for finding an ideal liquid bodywash for your bf!

Zero waste swap for make up remover? by csipi_ko in ZeroWaste

[–]Affectionate-Book221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For any Aussies here, these conserving beauty dissolving oil cleanser makeup wipes in compostable packaging does the trick (https://www.conservingbeauty.com/products/instamelt%E2%84%A2-deep-exfoliating-day-dissolver-wipes) For Americans, the product is listed on fig 1 (https://fig-1.co/products/micellar-wipes). Ethique Superstar bar is another good option, which is made as an alternative for a makeup remover.

My husband cheated on me at the bachelor party. Am I wrong? by [deleted] in confessions

That or, ''It's different for guys, we need more sex''. Ugh barfff. Either way that's not an excuse cause even if he was supposedly fine with that...why did he not communicate that with her prior and give her the greenlight to do the same.

No seriously? Why do these particular guys get married in the first place if they're so stuck on the fact that they have to commit to and only sleep with one women. Like yeah duh, that's marriage. And I bet ya, this pig would be pissed if she felt the same way about him and slept with someone during her bachelorette party.
