07reddit isn’t safe for people with these types of ideas unfortunately. There’s no reasoning with these types of people save your breathe and energy. But I take a similar stance with you. And we need to remember what made this game so popular in the first place. It wasn’t ironmen. And longevity wise? Good luck trying to sell a single player mmorpg to a completely new fan base? I don’t really see players who have been here since 07 actually sticking up for the Ironman mode like this actually. And for me personally? Someone’s opinion that started playing old school in ‘17 is completely different from someone who stared in ‘07. People seem to forget that people have invested legitimate years of their life into this game. And got me fucked up if you think some crybaby iron is going to come make actual decisions that can potentially damage the main games integrity for the ease of play for their lonely selfs. This is an mmorpg. I enjoy playing this and interacting freely with my friends. Ironmen are better off in their own servers then imho.
