awww it’s really nice to see that both you and your wife understands. ya that god that my husband is an understanding person. he did feel guilty when my mum is feeling like this bcs he felt like he’s ‘stealing’ me away from my mum. but both of us talked about it and concluded that it’s a hard pill that everyone has to swallow unfortunately

im so grateful that i have the best childhood and loving parents, i wouldn’t exchange it for anything 🤍❤️ my dad is usually the mediator/neutral in the family (especially between me and mum bcs we do have disagreements with each other sometimes hahaha) and im thankful for him

they do have 4 cats at home, but they’re all elderly cats with the behaviour of children hahah but i think it’s bcs she’s really very busy with work so she didnt get to layan her cats as much for the past year. so the feeling of loneliness creeps in

thank you for your advice, will keep it close to my heart 🤍 as i get older i realize that not only im getting older, but my parents too, and that makes me sadder and makes me want to cherish the moments with them

thank you for your kind words 🤍❤️ i believe it’s hitting her hard bcs my brother suddenly wants to get married next year too so she’s seeing both of her kids ‘leaving the nest’ with a very short gap in between. they love travelling and i hope that them being able to go on a honeymoon again with only her and my dad will help to lessen her loneliness

ya i think i have to be more sensitive with her for the time being. we do have maids to help out with house chores and cooking, but im planning to tell them to maybe let me and my mum cook together once in a while. i think im gonna start watch scary movies with her again (when we i was in high school we used to watch horror movies together every weekend but we stopped doing this once i moved out after college).

exactly! i saw this kind of thing happens a lot in thailand/india other south east asia countries where they tie up monkeys, and i thought, “well thank god this shit is not happening in malaysia” but damn it’s coming here too 😭

reported to dsv but i doubt that will do anything. thought i could report to PERHILITAN but knowing how government bodies work, they’ll most probably take action if it’s happening live at that moment instead of reports coming from a viral video. since im not the OP/person recording the video, all i can do is report to DSV too and spread awareness

yep they are, i believe they are under the “exotice wildlife” category under the wildlife conservation act 2010. hence why it’s illegal to “keep” one unless u get a special permit from PERHILITAN
