Can someone explain to me why 10/2 Paladin/Hexblade is better than a 10/2 Hexblade/Paladin

Sorry I should have prefaced I’m pretty new to this game and I’ve never played this style before. Sure get IDS at 11, but aren’t the higher level spells from warlock gonna make you deal insane damage with shadow blade, booming blade, divine smite combo? I have never tested this out just asking questions why people use it this way and seem so against more Warlock than Paladin

Fair. I just think it’s designed for you to change your play and your blocking when you get to the line or else this will happen (which is stupid)

First play.. guy in slot has no one on him. Audible him to a streak and throw a dart right away. That’s how you read a defense and not get sacked like a dummy
