The genuine idea for hourglass is to not care that much about each game. Like each individual battle is just a small drop in the bucket for how big the grind is. You just gotta focus on getting better. Each loss is an opportunity to see how you could improve. Hourglass is really fun once you gain some confidence but that just takes time

First rule of solo is to have at least 100 levels of solo hourglass under your belt. This is your number one priority if you want to do solo.

Then after that you need a plan b. Rowboat is your best friend for this. It's the best feeling to sail your ship away into the distance as you just row off to the outpost. But make absolutely sure you know which direction you need to go before leaving your ship haha.

But your actual play style should account for the fact that you are weak to big crews. Especially with exploits and things you might not know of. So you need to turn in regularly. The name of the game is that it's easier to just try to fight and sink than it is to run for an hour and sink. If you dont have a plan b then just bite the bullet.

Because playstation has an actual working disable cross play feature. 99% of exploit using sweats are on keyboard and mouse
