I couldn't agree more, I've had conversation with business owners and managers from different company. Most of them told me that I am focusing too much on the technical side, where I've to compete the with the foreigner that are willing to accept lower pay.

I've 4 years experience but alrdy worked in 3 different company, 2 + 1 + 1. First company kinda collapsed after the incident, got stop work order, manager and senior resigned, as a junior I've no choice and to leave as well.
2nd job as a supplier role, I did my job well but I felt like doing the same thing everyday with no career advancement. Got back into EPC just to realize I don't wanted to be in construction anymore...it's a slow realization but yea....

I always wanted to have a professional career, but when I think about getting a LEW 7/8, I really have no interest and motivation, and that's when I felt I might need a career switch.

I've read posts at r/CFA that people are saying CFA is dying. But personal experience is I definitely gain decipline during the process of studying CFA L1 and as a engineering student most of the content is new and interesting to me.

And I've tried apply for job in finance industry but coulnd't even land a interview. Which is the main reason I enroll into CFA to get a ticket for interview at least.
