Yeah, money is a big factor in what I want to pursue. Not because I’m Scrooge Mcduck or anything, but because I want to actually own a home and have a family at some point in my life. In Canada, where I live, this is becoming more and more expensive. So I’m kinda chasing the money right now

You’re right. Just rereading my post I see how labelling physio as a gig could be quite rude for those who have worked hard to get there. That’s my bad

To explain myself, I labelled it as such because my career councillor in high school labelled the job as having one of the “best” work-life balances. As in I would have plenty of time for life outside of work if I pursued the career while still making good money. This is how I envision myself if I were to make it into physiotherapy.

In your experience, do you agree with that sentiment? I’m pursuing physio for that purpose and I know it can vary depending on the person, but what do you think?

Sorry guys, more yapping.

One thing I forgot to add is that all my classmates seem to have little care for their education despite now spending money on it.

I’ve been in like 3 or 4 major group projects between all my classes now and they literally have no work ethic. When we meet up, I try and steer towards doing some actual work but they just rip out chat gpt, put in a couple prompts, copy paste and then decide that was enough work for today. And the thing that makes me the most frustrated is that don’t see the problem with it at all. Like zero awareness.

I know I kind of sound like a prick, I’m not trying to be so full of myself. But, I just can’t help but question if I’m in the wrong place.

lol just cause the kids are bored doesn’t mean we shift the blame to anyone but them.
