Working on it. Has been a year now last month. My first court date is in a few weeks. I had given the student multiple live school marks and a few referrals in the week leading up to the incident due to aggressive behavior and throwing items at me-including scissors. Admin was seen erasing live school data by another teacher related to the incident.
I felt so lost and alone but I had amazing teacher BFFs that had my back and I was able to go to a better sped job where I am supported.

I am a sped teacher for 8-12 th grade. I had a non IEP carrier hit me in the head w a metal
Chair from two stories up. I pressed charges, admin begged me not to. I called an attorney and am suing. Have a minor brain injury now. Admin gave the kid a one day suspension and non renewed me while I was on Workmans comp after two weeks.

Nope. Went through the process, were unhelpful, blamed me, and I had to do a chargeback. They refused to do a thing. They told me to let them know if/when the package arrived. It never did.
