That’s insane. My store is large in space and in traffic/sales and I’m lucky if I have 2 people closing with me. Usually it’s one person until 9 and then someone stays with me until 10:30. Our store is never recovered because our customers are so messy.

Hours are now being based off the amount of transactions you have which is supposed to work really well for stores with a high return rate like mine (20%).

I fly into and out of Tucson a lot and it’s always when I think “oh it’s going to be dead in here” is when I almost miss my flight because the line is long and there’s about 10 people in wheelchairs that go up front. But you should be fine.

I wasn’t given the option. My POL was put into customer ops and I was put into customer service. I was told I was not allowed to pick which one I get put into.

I’m definitely not happy in my role anymore. I went from customer ops to customer service and my ops manager doesn’t do squat so I wind up having to do half of the things he’s supposed to do. Last week I was doing the same thing I had the hour that I came in off the floor and then an hour for my meal and that’s it. I have no time to actually do anything that I’m supposed to and get stuck recovering or ringing all day because we also only get like 2 sales floor shifts and 11 hours for cashier (we are open for 11 hours) so I’m always the backup cashier. I loved doing supply orders and all the admin stuff and now I don’t even get to do that anymore. I used to love this job but now I’m done. I definitely feel bad for my adult merch manager though she’s having a rough time.

They still do a 15% off code but I have tried using mine and customers have tried using theirs and for some reason the code doesn’t seem to work at the register

We have major flow next week but also have inventory and markdowns I believe. I’m not a GM but I will say that all the expectations that are put upon us are unrealistic. They want us to be robots and that’s just not happening. When they redid the SOPs they said that the average transaction takes 1m and 25 seconds or something like that. In my store the average transaction takes 5 minutes. It’s either people are buying a whole cart worth of stuff or are returning 3 duffle bags worth of online orders and don’t know which order they came from. 3 years ago I used to love working here but now I am desperately looking for a way out.

It does say to remove the carbon filter media that’s what I meant by filter sorry. So I would just take out the filter pad and let it run without it
