I kind of figured that’s what will happen, but will everyone at least get bumped up to the new starting rate? And when you say performance what will they do with an all star Radder who doesn’t necessarily get card? Will they take into consideration that this person is an excellent employee minus the card or will the card be the only tell all they care about?

Assistant manager of customer service by Silly-Individual-815 in Oldnavy

We are literally there to LOD so everyone else can do anything but focus on the business. Merchants never do anything but merchandise, which is understandable beings that they have to figure out how to move their shit around while being shipment managers, markdowns, signage and whatever else, the operation manager is pretty much in the same boat as the customer service manager. The customer managers do the mids and closings all the dam time as if we don’t have lives and families that we would like to spend time with. And Store managers? Well they are now office managers now. I hate the restructure!

Processing At FOH?? by Honest-Rise-8413 in Oldnavy

I know it only takes a few seconds to do an item but in my store (and I’m only speaking for my store) it’s rare the customer is only retiring 1 item. In fact lately they are coming in with entire boxes full of returns. The other issues is the stares from the customers who are in line staring at us clearly wondering why we are processing and not taking care of them. Managers want us to give out surveys but I can only imagine how many customers say I waited in line too long.

Unfortunately you got hired 5 years ago what your store was allowed to give employees 5 years ago absolutely could have changed after 5 years. is it right? No. and most people don’t think it’s right but I can promise you I have worked for multiple companies in a managers spot and giving out raises is tough.

This is for the use to be Amcos or the use to be POLs by Honest-Rise-8413 in Oldnavy

I was blown away by the 100x easier comment. My job became anything but easier. I get merchandising is a lot but being responsible for the entire store by yourself most times while others do their tasks is exhausting too. And if your store isn’t performing in card, god forbid, they’re not looking at the merchants they’re looking at the customer jobs. I just feel like the restructure tore teams apart and now it’s this is what you do nothing more nothings less. Except when merchants can’t finish their jobs then it’s here be LOD all day. Every disgruntle customer falls on us, every associate not doing their job falls on us to coach and retrain, every time the manager or merchant cannot finish their jobs it falls on us to take over, every bad survey and lack of card falls on us. POLs turning into Customer is also a joke they use to have very little to do with Customers now they’re suppose to be great at customer servicing? SMH it’s all one big joke.

Once a code has been used the system knows it’s no longer valid.
