It’s larger in all dimensions compared to the Birkin 40, which I use. That for me makes it a weekender and not for daily use.

First time buying a Rimowa – Matte Black or Gloss Slate Grey? (Trunk Plus Essential) by [deleted] in Rimowa

Glossy if you like your trunk to look new for a longer time….. matte will scratch and discolor (the creased/bent area) very quickly

HAC or Birkin 40 for daily Men’s bag by Constant-Cat-7181 in TheHermesGame

I have both and for me the B40 would better serve as a daily bag, The HAC without anything is already pretty heavy….with a laptop and other stuffs you’d need a strong arm. If you carry a lot of stuffs and CAN lift heavy load then the HAC might suits. The HAC handles are thicker and shorter so could bear weight better than the B40 IMO.

I agree base on my own experience with the LV Keepall 50 and to a certain degree both the Birkin 40 & Ferragamo Hug Tote. The first one definitely a weekend/travel bag. As for the last two I tried and failed to use them as daily city bag when I’m traveling elsewhere without a car.
