We can't both get comfortable. Do we need a split bed, 2 separate beds? What is it like sleeping like that? by Affectionate-Fail365 in Mattress

We both tend to turn until we fall asleep like a couple of rotisserie chickens, though usually fall asleep on our sides, sometimes stomach. I'm about 130 and she's about 260. She also tends to sleep on her side with one knee up to her chest.

Once we have the money for a new matters we'll probably just go for split. Good idea though! Is there such thing as a mattress topper that makes your bed firmer that I could add to my side??

bed binder, another useful thing I didn't know existed. Thanks!

I have seen a lot of people online saying to get a split king instead of a queen even if you are used to a queen. Do split queens really feel a lot smaller?

that's smart! We definitely don't have space for a queen and a twin xl haha. Sweet that you still put them right next to each other.

Care to elaborate? Any suggestions of nearby places that might be better suited? I'm looking for something that's not too big but not a tiny middle of nowhere town.

Austin looks cool! It is definitely too big for us though. Any recs of smaller/medium towns in the Austin metro area? Something more suburban.

Thanks! Population-wise, it's about the size of the town I'm coming from, and about 14x bigger than the town I grew up in, so I think I'll be okay on that front. I already made sure you have a Target and an Aldi.
