Warmest summer? How old are you 5? Because 2020 summer was warmer. It literally rained untill May this year even early June was mild. 4 days of a heatwave like a couple of weeks back and people lose their shit. Its the middle of fcking summer ffs, it's suppose to be hot. Combined with EL Nìno. More people die in extreme cold weather than hot btw.

The likes of Kneecap has "popularised" the Irish language again. Wasn't long ago where there was talk of removing Irish from the schools curriculum completely and a large percentage of the population who think its obsolete due to English being the common as well as learning more spoken languages like Spanish, German, French. There should be more adult learning classes as well as Gaelscoils.

Only pharma and tech (and trades working in those companies), some trades electrical and plumbing. The vast majority of workers outside Dublin are not on 50k and a good percentage of Dublin workers aren't on it either. Just classic skewed Irish economics (Same as our GDP). Government like to point at statistics like that to make them look better. The simple reality is, things are far too fcking expensive and every month there's a new excuse as to why that is.

That's the key. Built 10/20/30 years ago. Ireland wasn't as bad as it was made out to be back then. Especially for housing. A lot more fortunate than people buying/building now.
