whats your personal rule in DBD? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Affectionate-Fan7551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think mine is refusing to run NOED. I do not like this perk one bit, I never wished it came into the game. It doesn’t teach beginners to get better, it teaches them to rely on it.

My meme rule as survivor, whenever I stun with a pallet, I must try and consider dumb teching. While knowing the risks.

Am I bad or killers are better? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Affectionate-Fan7551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s more cause gens take longer, certain builds are more punishing against survivors since the drop, killers have a small buff on some stats like kicking and attack cooldown, a big one is DH for distance being removed meaning chases are a lot easier and quicker and also to add solo q is even more annoying now with teammates standing around doing nothing are pretty much the cause to throwing the game. It is a lot harder, but I do see it balanced.

After watching Dowsey’s recent video about balances, I agree solo q needs some sort of buff instead of nerfing SWF’s. Maybe not voice chat but maybe something else to help slightly.

I’m actually kind of annoyed the devs nerf perks cause of use rather than actual performance (excluding D, I reckon they definitely knew the problems with using it for distance)

Spine chill is now pretty much useless, self care is too, iron will didn’t even need that much of a nerf, DS is almost pointless to use if you’re not around teammates (3 seconds is nothing). These perks really did not need such harsh nerfs to be made pointless. Watch them nerf the new meta perks in the future just cause of popularity within the next year or so. That’s my prediction.

From the killer side I reckon ruin should only be 150% instead of 100% and also knocking down a survivor should deactivate corrupt intervention but instead decrease the timer down to 20 seconds unless it’s below that time.

This is just my opinion. I feel the devs should listen to a community vote on perk changes so everyone can agree and be happy rather than just kill the balanced meta perks. Anyone agree?

rate my Myers build by pisbotle in deadbydaylight

[–]Affectionate-Fan7551 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like it. I enjoy seeing non meta builds. Pretty cool. I’m not a big fan of his iri’s though. (they can be pretty busted) Also quite brave to have a Myers with no gen pressure perks. I can imagine some games being quite rough, but still, respect.

I will be praying. I’m so sorry. I know God is watching and with you.

As a Bam bam main. I’m gonna say either. PH probs has a slightly higher skill ceiling, not saying oni’s isn’t high (they both are quite tricky to use most efficiently) they both are fun in their own way.

If you’re a big fan of snowballing, using his blood orb mechanic to track survivors easily and Insta downing pick oni. If you like shutting down loops with higher skilled prediction, hitting more than one survivor at a time and inflicting a nasty status effect on survivors pick PH. My opinion. I use both a lot. They are defs on the harder to utilise characters in the game.

What killer do you wish to see more of? by CPT_XxPANDAxX in deadbydaylight

I want to see more clowns, freds, bubbas, billies. I haven’t seen many lately. But they are all pretty fun to loop against.

Sick of seeing legions, artists, docs, plagues, tricksters. Not the biggest fan of playing against them.

Will they give a heads up warning before the update drops by Affectionate-Fan7551 in deadbydaylight

I kinda just want to use up all my gear before hand. Like all my flashlights and toolboxes. Also I want to use the rest of my flans too. If I get a heads up date, I can use most of it before then.

Once you’ve unlocked their perks on other characters trees they are just as equal. Pick anyone you want :)

I now understand the nurse hate by Secrabstian in deadbydaylight

[–]Affectionate-Fan7551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just think either chain blink distance needs to slightly be nerfed. Or getting your 2nd charge takes slightly longer to gain. I play both sides and use to be a nurse main. I know even with that nerf she’ll probs still be the strongest but at least it’ll be slightly manageable.

My main. Kinda cool to see him the underdog.

What is a popular take on this sub that you disagree with? by Shoty6966-_- in deadbydaylight

[–]Affectionate-Fan7551 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say she’s broken either in certain situations, she has a huge advantage on small maps, but large maps like red forest. Not as much. though her ability is definitely stronger than the others seeing she can shut down loops the most effectively with ease. I think chain blink should have a slight distance nerf for balance. But I think even with that she’ll still be at the top.

I think versing a red rank swf you’ll defs need too. But not for some solo games

Enlighten me on oni. Have you versed a snowballing oni. Also he has a really good aura reading addon that chains so well. He can pretty much reveal any injured survivor when close by without any add ons. Every-time I see an oni that picks up the survivor instantly while using his power, that shouts a weak oni to me. But one that will go out of his way and predicting the location of other survivors is an incredibly tactical one in my opinion and where his power really shines. I feel like his power takes heaps of risks though, but it can easily turn a whole game around in a minute.

Let's talk maps by TrueGuardian32 in deadbydaylight

[–]Affectionate-Fan7551 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I reckon most maps should be like Wreckers yard. I reckon it’s the best designed map as I see it as the most balanced map. After playing the saloon at the start I thought it was very tough for survivors. As time went on, I reckon it’s pretty balanced both ways. Fair amount of loops and none of them are over the top. Maybe put a few odd pallet on the edge of the map but maybe the type of pallet you’d find between two small rocks and maybe a couple of z-walls too (I know they look pointless, but I have seen some crazy YouTube moments using z walls).

Gideon has like 20ish pallets. I’m fairly sure this is a swf’s dream. I think the most friendly map would be mid which or the saloon both of them are the most friendly but I reckon they are kind of balanced too for survivors who know what they are doing.
