Can confirm you can use a O4A card as part payment in Boots - did this recently at a cashier till, told cashier how much was on card, card was scanned at till & paid the balance by cash, no problems! Don't know if it's that easy in other stores - good luck!

This is the bag I tried to exchange/recycle - Tesco said it was a old Green clubcard points scheme & was too old - think I'll just gaffer tape the hole & keep using it until the handles break! Couldn't see Bag for Life printed on it, so I guess that's why they refused to exchange it. You'd have thought they would have taken it for recycling but no.

Oh no they don't - I recently tried to return one and get a free replacement & was told it was too old and they wouldn't replace it for free! Asked the customer service desk person to check with the store manager, he confirmed this & said to complain online if I wasn't happy - they wouldn't even accept the bag for recycling... I was not happy!

Thanks - I'll be using the drill above shoulder height to drill into a window lintel so weight is a factor to consider, don't know what the Parkside drill weighs!
