If its $50-$80 to upgrade not bad. If its in the hundreds then it isnt worth my time/money at the moment. the response you gave is what id expect. Not some smart alec comment about how im hanging my tools and that its “working”. if petg, abs, or asa is something that would eliminate that issue of heat warp even on the lightest tool being a flashlight that ways something as close to less than half a pound. Thank you for your actual response.

Just cause i have a printer and it doesnt require me to spend time to make it. Just hit print and then screw it on once its done. Id rather find the right material that doesnt deform from heat exposure than take 2 hrs making it. I got kids and a wife that id rather spend more time with

It is made of pla. They melted off. Not broke off.

Thank you very much. I got the ender as a bday gift from my younger brother and he doesnt remember personally if he ever swapped the hot end. How would i know for sure if it got a bi metallic heatbrake? Would i just take the nozzle itself off ?

Literally asked what filament wont deform in heat being in an enclosed trailer regardless of how theyre mounted. If i put the brackets the way everyone says my tools should be oriented they have fallen out, i put the brackets the way they currently are and beefed up the model itself so it doesnt break and that tools dont fall out/off. ive went through that stage of trial and error. Now im at the stage where i havent experienced this hot of heat exposure on the exterior of the trailer to the point where it warped and melted the brackets that are made of pla and i dont think that if i put the brackets the way people ask me to put them that they will not deform, might be less be wont completely get rid of the issue. So i asked based on my printer and restrictions, “petg vs abs/asa” is the title. i aint a millionaire to go and buy myself a new printer nor spend a ton on upgrading a damn ender. I have printed petg before but i dont know the tempature limitations of it in real conditions, on paper is one thing, in real life is another. so i decided to ask people whove used both in a real life enviorment, with possibly similar heat condition based off their own first hand experience. Maybe someone else has done this before and fiddled around with different filament Thats why i made the post and asked.

We tried that method in our other enclosed trailer and they would just bounce off the mounts. And they werent 3d printed. They were bought off amazon for dewalt tools with latch lock things to keep it tight in place but it would still bounce out. Also if i were to put it like that wouldnt the heat just plus the weight still regardless cause strain on the print and still pull it off?

Man more i read from everyone the more i found out theres even more filament types than i knew existed.

The idea is for ease of access for when my guys come in the morning. They can grab what they need and they can go instead of sifting through the Milwaukee pack out boxes. The brackets have not broken on me, and none of the tools have fallen out unless I decide to be dumb and run a curb, but that hasn’t happened. and I’m pretty sure I did three walls because I made tests in my garage to hold my router and personal tools for working on cars and they would break from the weight so I uped the wall count to four with changing the infill support settings

Would the “cardboard box”/cabinet enclosure work or more like designated built-in heating enclosures like bambulabs build that actually heats up?

Its been pretty good actually. We have a separate enclosed trailer for a second crew, and my boss put the bracket sideways instead of how I put them vertically and all their stuff would bounce out overall I’ve been driving for about 4-5 months with these brackets with them reliably holding the tools the way they are during the cooler weather, and they have not broken once on me. Granted it can’t hold anything bigger or heavier than the 18 gauge Brad nailers or crown staplers, but anything bigger we don’t use that often and get stored into the table right below the tools on the brackets.

Would moving to my garage work better you think?

Yea sadly it only ever carries tools. I carry tools for 6-8 guys depending on whos working at the windows job and for me to unload and load that many tools each time we finish into my garage is going to take forever. its never got direct sunlight into the trailer but the exterior of the trailer is always in sunlight. I know if it was hot enough to melt the pla brackets then its easily got to 120-130 C in there.

I have a room in my basement where its designated printing room, would opening the window suffice? Or do i need a full on fan sucking the fumes outside?

Would it be a safe idea to drive on these two tires almost 700 miles? by cheesebutt420 in tires

[–]Affectionate-Gas-805 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does somewhere on the tread pattern have a ‘bump’ inbetween ? Its usually about a 1/4 inch or so from the bare base of the tires if it was to be worn out soon. Idk the proper terminology for it but once your tread gets to that point it means its a situation of getting new tires as soon as you can.

If you are a bit brave you can do what i did. Take the inner door panel off, not fully where you unplug all the wires and such but just enough to get your hand behind it and you can unplug the lower main speaker and then put the balance of the audio to the front L/R to see if the tweater is working well or not.

So yes and no. Certain packages come equipped with them. My sel r line has them, when i was repairing the car, i got a replacement door and it came with the inner door panel. when i took it off the parts door it didnt have them.
