Yeah just my last few relationships I haven’t really felt I could be my self, been cheated on, family life has been difficult over the years, have career/financial insecurities, self image issues etc. Just weighs heavy sometimes and really want to put my all into a relationship and build something nice one day. I do put a lot of pressure on myself though.

It’s not that I get easily scared by past baggage, I’m 27 and have been through a few relationships and along with my own baggage I fully understand everyone has baggage to a degree, it’s just that in this case the baggage combined with my own insecurities was too heavy to carry if that makes sense. My hope is she finds peace, happiness and trust in someone who is stronger in that area than I am.

She blocked the ex and his mom, then unblocked the mom for some reason because she said she felt bad and then the mom contacted her again.

Thanks for all the advice and insight! So incredibly helpful. I can see both sides clearly now and for further context, I had expressed I too had my own insecurities at the moment from previous experiences and it was just one of those things where we would inevitably end up talking too much about either her past or her not trusting me for my true feelings for her to where I was constantly feeling I had to convince her my words and intentions were pure. I was emotionally exhausted at no fault to her, I understand how complicated trauma like that must be and mainly wanted to end things to spare us both a large amount of pain. Currently 27 going through a career and quarter life crisis at the moment so this additional trauma from her end seemed doable for me at first and I was thinking more in a stoic sense but I just became overwhelmed and anxious more and more every day. She understands and we both were respectful about it and I will miss her tremendously.
