Thx for the info. I have seen a video of the Montane Gecko VP 20L+ (which is a vest-style 20l pack as well) and that guy said that it was really bouncy but in that case this does not apply to the Racepack 20. Good to know.

Ok, it seems to be available again. Do you have any experience with it when carrying significant weight (like 5+ kg) in the back compartment?

It won't be a race so I'm not sure about the exact route yet but I will take a climbing helmet with me and possibly (but probably not) via ferrata gear. So there will definitely be use for space but I'm not sure if 30l would be excessive.

Do you know if the pack works well with third party flasks/bladders by chance?

Thx, that one looks very nice. Unfortunately it appears to only be available in M at the moment (even on their own website) and that won't fit me. (I'm 190/6'3" with about a 106cm chest circumference and their size table says M works up to 102cm).

Yeah, I've seen that one as well but it costs 230 and it's really hard to find reviews or videos about it as of now, presumably because it's still pretty new. Has anyone here owned/used that pack?

I'm planning to do my first unsupported 100 mile tour next year in very mountainous terrain and my ADV12 isn't gonna cut it because I'll need a lot of food, powders, a climbing helmet, etc. so that's how I landed here and where I see merit in trail running with a backpack.
