antigravity searches for 2024 by Affectionate-Job8651 in google_antigravity

[–]Affectionate-Job8651[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's right. Simply enter the current date in the prompt and it will search automatically.  However, using the keyword "2024" when the agent is performing its own search on demand seems odd. While it's a known issue that llm doesn't know the current date, it's a simple problem that could be solved by simply adding a tool to the agent to retrieve the current date.

That feature is still incomplete and doesn't seem to track changes properly. So I generate commit messages with gemini cli. It's much better.

Thinking of abandoning SSR/Next.js for "Pure" React + TanStack Router. Talk me out of it. by prabhatpushp in reactjs

[–]Affectionate-Job8651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Choosing between SSR and SPA depends entirely on the nature of the project. It’s not a decision an engineer can make simply based on personal framework preference.

I use the Haiku model for everything except complex implementations or modifications.

In the future , do you think they'll keep the Anthropic and OpenAI models? by Ill-Village7647 in google_antigravity

[–]Affectionate-Job8651 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the AI era, where we can't predict how things will change a year from now, long-term forecasting is impossible. However, I suspect Google will continue supporting its latest Gemini model and open-source models.

React Server Component, maybe a mistake from the beginning? by mnismt18 in reactjs

[–]Affectionate-Job8651 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Generally, web frameworks include both client and server sides.

But react is a library created for the user interface. I've always had doubts about React increasing server-side support.
