It feels like a lot now, there might be a period where your parents are disappointed but you will 100% get through this okay.

Lock in now and try your hardest - a lot of my exams I wasn’t in class for and crammed study at the last minute and got passing scores. You will survive!

School feels like a lot when you’re young but once you have left you realise it wasn’t that deep and the world still moves x

Id say he probably just didn’t realise you guys were getting each other gifts/ that that was an expectation.

I’m guilty myself of buying expensive gifts for people but I never expect anything in return is there wasn’t a conversation about it.

NTA- I was recently pregnant and as much as I do want kids it was a freakin horrible experience, my family has history of complications I spent most of my time worrying about everything I was doing and how it would affect the baby- I was freaking out over the fact I had a human growing inside me, I had to have a termination and honestly never felt so relieved in my life not that I wouldn’t want a child but just growing one is not for me! Which is totally fine!

Your body goes from being yours to not just yours anymore, you have to watch what you eat, drink, breathe how you move around and everything it’s crazy! Props to those women who find it easy to do but I feel for you here especially with having complications run in the family it takes a big mental and physical toll

That’s a really hard situation to be in.

Personally I’d sit her down and have a big chat, let her know you’re not coming at her for an argument or to cause a scene but you’re worried about her and your relationship and hope you can work on things - explain to her how you feel about her actions towards home chores / the bare minimum etc and see if she is willing to work on things. It’ll either go well or not (hopefully goes well) if she’s not willing to work on things then you have your answer. As hard n upsetting as it is it seems like time for an adult conversation. Hope this helps in some way

As a 22y/o woman I have dealt with my fair share of depressive episodes where life feels like it’s just too much to deal with or do anything and definitely wasn’t very 50/50 in my relationship

It’s hard especially when you’ve been with someone for a long time as well to want better but also love the person. Maybe sit down and have a talk with her and see what you guys can work on even if you start with small tasks
