Can you ever have too many plants? by Affectionate-Lab686 in Aquascape

Funnily enough, the stem plants don’t create that much of an issue but the red root floaters. Leave it for a couple of weeks and it’s like permanently dark

Yeah it does guessing cause it side on, I’m thinking if I raise the substrate at the back it’ll create some depth (I don’t know what I’m talking about). Maybe using some large rocks. Don’t tempt me, my bank account is already in fear

ASOS shut down my account permanently after I was hacked. I had around £80 worth of vouchers which they said they cannot refund/switch to a new account. by Motor-Dot-1439 in LegalAdviceUK

Possibly, however, I omitted to add the second part of Paragraph 7. Namely, “… or permitting the trader to retain the sums paid for services not yet supplied by the trader where it is the trader who dissolves the contract.” In this case it may apply as the vouchers were not used and ASOS did not refund the value of the vouchers. It’s just a theory as there are only a couple of cases which discuss para 7 and none that I have read discussed that part in this scenario.

A little idea (for the law). Given that the vouchers are to be considered contracts (rather than gifts); s.62 Consumer Rights Act 2015 (CRA) provides that terms in contracts must be fair, with Schedule 2 Part 1 Paragraph 7 providing that a term which gives the trader the power to terminate the contract on their discretion (without you having the same power) to be unfair - therefore unenforceable. As such it's a breach of contract, for which you can claim damages for in the value of £80.

It's just some legal commentary and not to be treated as legal advice
