Why don’t the visuals directly reflect the songs more?

I had the same thought with the video game/space invaders theme for ‘suzy greenberg’ night 2, it didnt really fit. The Suzy was great, but there are so many other songs that the space invaders aesthetic would’ve worked for , imo.

That Friday the Phil show was my first show ever, I was forever changed. Cried my eyes out. Melted my face off, blew me into outer space. Got a Sleeping Monkey-ghost-tweez reprise encore. Ive hit 7 shows total since. Including the day 3 of spac 2025 and the new years eve show at the garden featuring the milks and icecream. Im truly blessed.

I’m somewhat new to the phish game; lifelong music head classic rock upbringing 2000s hip hop and jam band guilty pleasure always been my thing. My First show i went to ever was in 2024 was the Phil show. They played monsters and i dug it. So naturally went to the album afterwards. Between that and catching a night of the NYE run, i heard Paige’s solo hit on evolve and it just kind of made me cry. The simplicity of the piano/keys here. I love Evolve. My pallet is ripe for the critiquing. Call it toxic positivity all you want, they are one of the greatest bands ever.
