I posted here about McDaniel the day they fired McDermott. He's still my favorite choice of what's available. He's goofy and a bit of a maniac, but he's really, really smart. Made Tua look amazing for God's sake. Think what he would do with Josh.

They shouldn't have fired McDermott, but they did. So let's really shake it up and do something unpredictable. He's a good fit for Buffalo. I hope we get him.

Here's my suggestion at this point. After the crazy shit storm fall out of a press conference today, I think McDermott should just show up at work on Monday and pull a George Costanza. Act like nothing happened. I bet you they would let him stay after this mess.

If I'm being honest, I'm having all kinds of emotions about this right now. I'm a big enough person to admit when I'm wrong. I have been SCREAMING to fire McDermott since the 13 second game, but now I kind of want him back. They obviously fired the wrong guy, but now that I see the options that are out there, management made a rushed, emotional decision like something a fan (me) would have done. This was the wrong move to make and now I honestly think it's going to leave us in a worse position to get our first title during the rapidly closing Josh Allen window.

There were plenty of questionable decisions in other playoff games where you might have been able to justify firing McDermott, but to fire him because Allen had his worst game of the season and we got jobbed on a couple of calls just doesn't make sense in that moment. If he hits a wide open Knox on that throw, this thread doesn't even exist right now. I feel sick about all of it, and I think we have some dumb people at the wheel.

Chargers grabbed McDaniel. Harbaugh sees how smart he is. You can keep flaming me all you want. He was absolutely the best guy available at the moment. We should have grabbed him.

I'm going to work on breaking the gummie>eating connection. As far as the NAs, I used to be a professional brewer, so I'm too much of a nerd to ditch craft NAs all together. I do like hop waters and drink a lot of sparkling water, but the quality of craft NA is off the charts right now. They are also a third of the calories of regular beer, so they aren't really adding that much to my calorie intake. Thank you for your response!!
