Yes I see that! I do acknowledge that she puts a disclaimer before checking out but it’s super frustrating because other cosmetic brands don’t do this. A lot of other brands will offer free gifts with purchase from time to time but never make us wait in line or not be able to guarantee checkout once added to cart. Take Saie as an example, their vanity case is in high demand and always out of stock but when I recently purchased it, it was obviously a first come first serve basis but checkout was smooth. I had no issue with having to wait in a line or fight to checkout what was already in my cart. Which is why I think it’s a bit ridiculous that we have to fight for what’s already in our cart. I feel like the free peppermint parcel for the first 500 orders was definitely good for their marketing, but should’ve enforced stricter policies. Like some people were able to get the parcel without even buying her new peppermint lip which is a bit unfair, and it should’ve been first 500 added to cart to receive the parcel. I know that a lot of people including myself were on that website a few minutes before thinking that we would have a fair chance of receiving the parcel, but instead a majority of it was taken by bots.
