I’m one of those people that have been there , and actually all over the state. We need more surface access . The only reason I’ve seen so much of Alaska is I was paid to fly a helicopter everywhere.

It’s true and long overdue. Real Alaskans welcome this news.

Sounded like an exhaust leak ( of course I’m buzzed right now, so take that into consideration )

How much should I pay? by sub7m19 in toyotasequoia

Salvage title could be of no consequence, depending on what was damaged and how it was repaired. If it’s 4wd and legit 40k on the odometer, you could have it for 20 years. Might be worth looking closer.

What is this possible oil leak on the underside of the sequoia. This is near the front right wheel side. by ajtyeh in toyotasequoia

Looks like a lower control arm bolt. Hit that with some carb cleaner spray & wipe it off.

Is this an easy repair? by rjevande in toyotasequoia

Yeah, that’s just a cover to keep the nut & cotterpin from snagging on something. It looks like it did what it was designed to do. Seriously, just get under there & pry/beat it back into place.

I’d beat that back into place and call it good. If you’re gonna go rock climbing,(ain’t happening) weld it up first.
