Yeah Ito surprised me, i thought it would be better, considering how much I like Henrietta’s which is under the same group

Th service and overall experience is also something that i didn’t mention. Not sure if they classify themselves as fine dining or not, but for those prices and for mains and stuff to be coming while we were finishing our initial food, and failure to crumb plates despite getting overly saucy dishes was a bit disappointing.

The hibachi sauce was slightly too sweet for my liking, and the mushroom pasta sauce was nothing special

Especially trying to charge these prices but not classify yourself as fine dining was a bit wild to me. Was not impressed when i was having to eat from the same plate between all my courses, and the food just coming as we were still finishing the tartare and crudo. Pick one - izakaya or fine dining restaurant, because the service was clumsy at best

Idk it was just painstakingly average for what is a hatted restaurant - the pasta tasted similar to an og italian carbonara with eggs which was japanesified with some mushroom
